But that solution creates a new moral problem. Is the death of one person witnessed by many people comparable to the emotional toll of the deaths of many people witnessed by one person? I mean, I guess it's sort of moot point since all involved will get smooshed soon, but still.

The lawyer in me notes that it maximizes the number of plaintiffs who will have wrongful-death suits, which is clearly the best outcome.But that solution creates a new moral problem.
