That's what this is for...That is definitely not the style nor setup I’d think about when talking about Puppets.

That’s more like it. I’ve got an original design ESP Explorer myself. Thought about the diamond plate one, but I love the original black design too much.

The diamond tread plate was my dream guitar. I believe he first used it in 1996. I got mine in 1999. Oddly enough that BC Rich flying V in the picture is the best sounding guitar I've ever had and it was $299. No idea why but man it's got a sweet tone.
With the ESP JH-2 you have EMG 81/89 pickups. Those are great pickups but you only hear the pickups. If I plug that guitar into any rig it sounds roughly the same. Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing tone, but it destroys any real tone and feel coming from the rig itself. I believe that's one reason Metallica doesn't use those pickups anymore.

Is this a Matchbox 20 joke? That's my fiance's favorite band so I've been learning a lot of their music. Rob Thomas is a fantastic musician...It's great if you want to start covering "Smooth"

Mrs Tif has never been to a music store before. I told her when things are things again I'm taking her to the Hollywood Guitar Center and making her stand on the main floor. I put the over/under at how long she lasts at 3.5 minutes.
Take the normal music store shenanigans you'd have at a regular big box retailer like Guitar Center, and multiply it by however many Musician's Institute students are around that day.

Ew guitar center....but that location is fantastic. I went there on my only visit to LA. Also toured the Mesa Boogie plant.
I've been doing some research on the JH2 since I've been talking about it and just discovered that mine was the 45th one ever made (maybe not counting whatever they made for James initially). The number is stamped on the last fret.

Its a shame Gibson bought out Mesa Boogie. Quality is going to take a dip, likely. I was just thinking about looking into a Mk series, too.

Most of his were 81/60s. Don’t ask me why, because I have no idea why the hell I did it, but mine has two 81s in it, and only because I haven’t picked it up in forever that I haven’t simply swapped the other one out yet.

Two 81s? That makes.....no sense? Most of his were 81/60s. Don’t ask me why, because I have no idea why the hell I did it, but mine has two 81s in it, and only because I haven’t picked it up in forever that I haven’t simply swapped the other one out yet.
I prefer the 81 to the 89 especially for distorted tones. I've been thinking of building my own strat style with some SRV single coils for my blues rig.

I still want a Triple Rectifier. Heavy mid tones and chunky bottom end. Coupled with that ESP I have and it sounds amazing. But I'd rather drop $3000+ on a new guitar as opposed to an amp. Although, I have still never owned a tube amp....Its a shame Gibson bought out Mesa Boogie. Quality is going to take a dip, likely. I was just thinking about looking into a Mk series, too.

Dunno what I was thinking. Some of Kirk’s guitars ran dual 81s, not that I can use that as an excuse, lol. If I ever bought another, it’d be Kerry King’s red and black ESP V. Just a beautiful guitar. Two 81s? That makes.....no sense? Most of his were 81/60s. I'm at the point where I am considering an entirely custom made guitar from PRS. Calling them up and creating my own axe from me personal specs. That would probably end up costing me over $5K but if you've ever played a PRS you know it's worth it. It is the most comfortable guitar brand I've ever played.

I’m no musician, but when “Rob Thomas” and “great musician” are used in the same sentence, I immediately throw out the flag

Doing some digging, that judge seems like an A+ quality dude. I'm sure a lot of other judges would have erupted or had no sense of humor about it, but he handled it well. Not sure how the attorney feels about him sharing it but it seemed to be done with good intentions.

note: this is the Krispy Kreme of my childhood. my parents would stop on the way back from church on Sunday mornings. my siblings and I would stand there and gaze at the doughnuts going around on the giant conveyor belt.

Why are the only Krispy Kreme and Tim Horton's in the Pittsburgh area (not counting ones in OH and WV) in Little Warshington?
