I heard this crash happen and can hear the sirens from my desk. Crazy.

Watching local news this morning, and a flatbed tractor trailer just sheared off a fire hydrant at an intersection in Van Nuys and got hung up over the corner. So instead of the normal geyser of water shooting 50 feet into the air, the water is hitting the underside of the flatbed and blasting out in all directions like a truck sized version of putting your thumb over the nozzle of your garden hose.

I wouldn't dare take a photo, but...
My wife does a HITT routine with resistance bands. Sometimes she shuts them in a door. Today she was standing on them. Well, she must have rocked back on her heels a bit too much, and the band came undone at full force. Cracked her right across the face at nose level. She has a perfect one inch line across the width of her face, just below the eyes.
She bruises easily, when the dog was still with us she would get leg bruises all the time. And concerned coworkers and medical folks would often ask if everything is okay at home...
Hope she can explain this one away.

Does she have Factor 5? My wife does and every time she bumps up against something it looks like I knocked her around. Not a fan.

I'm not sure if we ever nailed down a real cause, we've always chalked it up to an iron deficiency.
Luckily it caught her low enough that it probably won't give her racoon eyes through the weekend. Just looks like she got a sunburn while wearing a mask and sunglasses.

The night before we were scheduled to go on our first trip to NOLA Mrs Tif was getting ready for bed and came out of the bathroom and tripped over her suitcase. She face planted onto the bedroom floor and broke off a tooth (a portion of which is still in that floor today). She bruised up, her lip swelled up, and when she went to the dentist the next morning to have an emergency temporary cap placed, the staff were like, "Did this really happen as a result of a fall?"I wouldn't dare take a photo, but...
