I recall- I believe it was in a piece he wrote for Player’s Tribune, that Cutch got offered a baseball scholarship to play at Florida but it was not enough to bring the cost down to be affordable for him to attend.
One of my som’s former teammates- the one who grew up faster than the rest and was 5’7” hitting dingers like clockwork in 5th grade, got a scholarship to Slippery Rock. I mean I’m sure it helps with the cost but is it ever going to recoup what they put into it over the years?
Finally- yeah the cost of baseball equipment- primarily composite bars- is obscene. Cleaning out the garage I had at least 5 that I asked him if he still wanted. He wanted to keep all the wood ones but only one of the composite. Told him I would donate them but I don’t know if anyone wants a 5 or 10 year old one, since they come out with new models every year.

How in the... did they not see it during ultrasounds and whatnot? I'd imagine one of the first things they would have done was look for it to remove it.

They probably didn't remove it because there was a high risk that the baby would be harmed in the process.

Not so sure about this in this day and age. There are quite a few complex surgical procedures done on babies while still in the womb (spina bifida for one). They probably didn't remove it because there was a high risk that the baby would be harmed in the process.

This why it will be snip snip. No way I leave to chance something like that running around inside because it failed.

I mean, it's a cool pic. If they actually did leave it in there after she was confirmed to be pregnant, I guarantee they put it in his hand after he was born. He didn't come out holding it like a sword.

PNC 'reversed' a mobile deposit on me, from a check deposited 6/8, stating that "The check was not eligible for mobile deposit", today (7/7), debiting my account 71.99 with no notice whatsoever. I retained the check until it cleared - standard 2-3 days, then I filed it in the can. The check was for $71.99. I no longer have the check to deposit it at the bank like they said. They suggested I contact the issuer of the check (JCPenney), but the issuer of the check is showing it as cashed on their end, so they're not reissuing it.
Am I basically screwed? Or should I call PNC a second time to complain more?

I just assumed that PNC would've helped me the first time if they could have.
This is about my fifth negative experience with them in the past year or so. I think I'll start migrating my bill pays to one of my newly opened accounts and close down the PNC.

Yous both still have a picture of the check, right mac? Why can't this one have its picture taken? Is it like a French impressionist check? I don't understand, it's a piece of paper with some numbers on it...

haha I went to PNC because I was having this issue at Fist Commonwealth. Haven't had an issue since becoming a PNC member.I just assumed that PNC would've helped me the first time if they could have.
