Why do they come around the airplane and tell you to buckle your seat belt before they show you the demo about how to buckle it?

Um, I don’t know how. I was told there would be a demonstration.

I get that the bicyclist technically had the "right of way", but he is still a jackass. Blows right through the stop sign on the bike path (it's there because it's supposed to be followed), takes both his hands off the handlebars, etc.

If you have the time to throw your hands in the air like that, you have time to stop. Don't be an idiot next time.

I hope he ended up with multiple broken clavicles, a hole in his sternum, and two perforated eardrums, and they amputated and then reattached his penis upside down.

It's holiday shopping season, and I've got Amazon, UPS, and FedEx at my door literally every day for the past 5 days.

maybe I'm missing something but why does the bicyclist have the right of way? he's got a stop sign and the thoroughfare doesn't. clearly you don't want to give cars the "right" to just mow down a bike but I always believed that bikes had to follow all traffic rules, though most don't.

No mention that he blew through that stop sign.
The bicyclist hit by a car while pedaling inside a crosswalk along the Pinellas Trail earlier this month had the right of way, according to a clarification issued Monday by the St. Petersburg Police Department.

Meanwhile, officers continue to look for the driver of the white sedan that struck Steven Weldon in the area of 666 49th Street S on Nov. 1.

that seems unrealistic to me. pedestrians in the crosswalk, sure but with the speed (obviously) that a bike can go through, even if he stops at that stop sign, that needs to be re-thought.
