I legit had to Google White Claw, because I had never heard of it before.

Within the last three minutes, I've spotted both the first and second spotted lanternfly on my property. They've arrived. ****.

there was an argument around if deli sandwiches should be toasted or not

maybe I don't have good taste but I always prefer toasted sandwiches. Get that cheese melted and crisp the bread up a little bit

To me, that's basically any sliced bread sandwich with deli meat. If that's what MIMH is referring to, then what he's describing is a panini.

Every single work day, I come home and put turkey, pickles, and peppers on toasted bread. I suppose that's a "deli sandwich"?

I'm a fan sandwiches being cold, unless they are a specialty item.

I don't really eat bread anymore, but when I did, I really got sick of the toasted sandwich world...bread makes or breaks a sandwich, we all know that...and too many places would just burn the bread or just, I don't know, dehydrate it basically...Subway overplayed their toasting hand and seemed to kill it for everyone else...

I think a very light toasting can make some sense on certain sandwiches, especially those with certain condiments...but I believe that bread should be soft as a general rule...

Celebrated my grandparents 76th wedding anniversary this weekend. They are slowing down, but still active. Was nice to get them out to our house for a cookout and some cake/ice cream. They have been married longer than alot of people will live. It's crazy.

Oddly enough, a FB memory from ten years ago came up today about playing Farkle with my co-workers. We used to love that game.

Wow, God bless them. I assume they got married very young? I got married at 26, so I figure I'll be very fortunate to celebrate my 60th.

I'm pretty sure they got hitched when he was home on a short leave during WWII. They were both in the service. I would guess he was early 20's. Same with my grandma. They are only about a year apart in age I believe. I believe my grandfather turned 97 this year, and my grandma is going to turn 96 in September.

I had no idea this was a game and especially not 10 years ago. Not sure how I missed it, but I'm glad I found it now.

I recall playing it a lot when I worked at the Bedford Springs which would have been 2008-2009. So yeah... 10 years ago.

Putting on trivia hat...I believe Farkle is one of Shrek and Fiona's children.

First learned of Farkle in New Orleans helping out after the Katrina disaster. We played into the wee hours of the night. Haven't played much since but it's still fun to pick it up and play every so often.
