Congrats, glad it worked out for you.

Woohoo! Congrats!Well, my job search has ended. Starting Sept. 9th, I'll be a Quality Project Manager for a surgical robotics company in Pittsburgh.
I did this in high school, and it was..... a lot to take in. I don't know what logistical measures they have in place to prevent, erm, 'recognition', but in my case all three cadavers had the skin on the faces removed. Cos that was my biggest worry, that I'd go there and one of them would be the frickin' maintenance guy from the apartment complex where I lived who just passed away three weeks prior and who I'd known since I was 8 years old.As part of my onboarding, I will tour a cadaver lab. Which I actually think is kind of cool.

If you like that, you should check out the Mütter Museum in Philly. Lots of interesting stuff there.

My wife had cadaver lab for PT school. Some of the students would look the people up and find out the back stories. Yeah, no thanks.

A guy on reddit was trying to figure out the name of a horror movie and gave a brief description. A few people tendered their guesses and he responded with an attitude. I decide to click on his user name to see if he was new, or just a jerk. Aside from that one post, every one of his posts were in incel subs and rapefantasy where he talks constantly about hating women, wanting to punish them, etc.

Good cadaver story. Used to work with a physician that owned a “boutique” cadaver lab in town that reps would take surgeons to, get them all liquored up, **** around and mess with the cadavers trying new equipment, implants, techniques, etc. The guy had someone in his Employ that would travel around the country to pick up the cadavers they purchased (mainly in Cali because people would move there without their families and dedicate their bodies to science). He would buy them waist down, waist up with head, waist up without head, and just head. His guy was flying back from CA one day with a bag of heads and it opened up during the flight and spilled everywhere during the flight. Not sure if this is real or not but it cracks me up every time

Sounds like the back story for the next mass shooter.A guy on reddit was trying to figure out the name of a horror movie and gave a brief description. After reviewing his history, that's the creepiest part. But what was the description of the movie?
The actor kinda looked like Christopher reeve that played superman. He had a main wife/gf, but he discovered his passion for murder and he began stalking and killing girls. He even made his gf to play dead while they fuked. Also made the head of one of his victims as a maniquen doll head to test wigs etc.

Pro tip: This is the best way to start a conversation with strangers. Chuckle at the last thing someone in the group said, take a sip of beer, and mid-sip go 'Mmm, that reminds me of a good cadaver story." The more non sequitur it is, the better.Good cadaver story.

I worked in photo labs (back when it was actually film that had to be developed) for 10 years. for awhile one of the local DA offices was a client. they'd bring in autopsy photos to be developed and printed. the facial skin was always removed in the pictures
I did this in high school, and it was..... a lot to take in. I don't know what logistical measures they have in place to prevent, erm, 'recognition', but in my case all three cadavers had the skin on the faces removed.
it was gross at first but eventually I got to the point where the only ones that really bothered me and made it hard to eat lunch afterwards were the burn victims.
