Woman says she was kicked out of Golden Corral because of her crop top

https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/woman-k ... 09684.html
A woman in Pennsylvania is speaking out against the restaurant chain Golden Corral after getting kicked out of its Eerie, Pa., location because of her outfit.

Sueretta Emke took to her Facebook to share her grievances from a visit to the family-style restaurant where she went with her husband, son and some friends to celebrate her son’s birthday. However, the group didn’t have the dining experience that they anticipated since they were ultimately asked to leave.

According to her post, the manager of the particular franchise told Emke that she was dressed “too provocatively” for the restaurant and suggested that she cover up. When asked what was inappropriate about her outfit, the manager couldn’t provide an answer.

“I have seen people in there wearing less and nothing is said to them,” Emke wrote, “but I really do believe something was said to me because im [sic] not thin so it’s not considered sexy.”
'I never wanna wear that shirt again'

I would bet very good money that in the last two weeks (unrelated to this incident), she has posted on something on Facebook to the effect of "If you can't handle me at my worst, you don't deserve me at my best".

Also the comments in that Yahoo article
“I’ve never worn a crop top before but my husband loved it on me”.
Perhaps he thoughtfully and carefully considered his answer to the question even the most experienced husbands dread.

My son went to a birthday/pool party over the weekend, where something called "walking tacos" were served.

I had never heard of them, so I got some clarification from the parents of the birthday kid: each kid gets a small lunchbox size of Doritos, crush the chips up, and then add traditional taco fillings/toppings into the bag and eat with a fork. Hence, a "walking" taco.

My wife thought that was the most disgusting thing she'd heard of, but it sounds interesting. Plus, Doritos!

you take your kid to all of those baseball tournaments and you don't know what a walking taco is?

We’ll have walking tacos on my camping trip at the end of the month.
I prefer mine with Fritos instead of Doritos.

I've never seen or heard of those before. We do have pickle juice pops at those tournaments though.

Doritos sounds like too much "flavor" but Fritos are way too salty. I think I can have 10 Fritos and I would hit my 300mg a day limit.

There is never an inappropriate or awkward time to be hungry for tacos.

Dorito walking taco is infinitely better than a Frito one. Mostly because Doritos are infinitely better than Fritos

Doritos are worse for you on sodium than Fritos.

I recently discovered these at the speedway gas station here in the burgh. Paqui was known for their one chip challenge with a single heavily dusted ghost pepper tortilla chip.
These by far are the spiciest chip I’ve ever tried. Way spicier than those hot ones from the Doritos roulette chips a few years ago.

This brand of chip is sold at Whole Foods, but not this particular chip. I bought the salsa verde style and it was meh. Not impressed at all. Too much lime flavor, overpowering.

I liked the salsa verde because of the lime, but I like lime in general.

@Viva la Ben how hot are those chips? I can handle most of the habanero chips that are out. I think a lot of the newer chips get the habanero bite right but nowhere near the heat that it should be.

They are hotter than the Herrs Carolina reaper cheese curls. They make my nose run. Buying a few bags for a walking taco challenge.

I always forget about the Treaty of 1818 in terms of American expansion. We also gave up a little bit of Canada above the 49th.
