What tool are you buying?
I haven't decided yet. I'm thinking a ladder. My multi-purpose 14 ft doesn't cut it anymore.

My parents' neighbor has one of those 22' Little Giants, and it's awesome. I've used it a number of times to clean out my gutters.

My 14 ft. is the Werner style like that. It's awesome for all indoor jobs, but it basically pointless outside. I'm thinking of just getting a 24 ft. extension ladder

Get a better pressure washer and you won't need a ladder at all...

At first I was like, I'm not buying any Funko Pop stuff. Then I saw Ron Swanson and had to have it. Then came John Hammond and Ian Malcolm. Then the entire Die Hard cast. And now these (tifosi77):

Well, someone had a great night last night in Vegas with my wife's debit card. The bank froze all the purchases pretty quickly, but this is like the 4-5th time this has happened with her debit card over the last few years. I've only had it happen 1-2 in that same time period.

The shitty thing is that we are heading out on vacation Saturday, and her new card won't be ready in time.

We've both been using mobile phone payments as much as possible these days in hopes to stop some of the fraud.

Mrs Tif had that happen around ten years ago. We were in Vegas for the first (and last) Champ Car race downtown, and we went to Mesa Grill for dinner Saturday night, which was literally the only place she physically used the card in like a 9-day span. She logged in to her checking account on the Monday and saw something like 12 fraudulent pending charges all around the LV area. Sort of made it easy to narrow down where her card was skimmed.

Took a few weeks off to get my head together after the layoff (which was massive and not over. More this month.)

I'm in a good place. I really hated my job at the end. 42 weeks severance, all health benefit paid in that time as well. So I have time to look for a job I actually want.

My wife and I are renewing our vows next year while on vacation, bringing our parents this time since they didn't get to participate in our wedding. Is it normal to buy new rings are part of a vow renewal? I ask because my wife sent me a link to one... so I guess I'm buying one regardless, but was wondering if that was normal.

I don't think new rings are necessarily expected as part of the renewal process, but it's not uncommon. We've been talking about renewing our vows (basically just an excuse to have a big party, much like our reason for getting married in the first place), and I might avail myself of the chance to get a new band, since mine doesn't fit anymore, but is titanium and can't be resized.

Interesting. Do we have any women on the board who did this? If so, do you wear your renewal band with the other two? In place of one?

At last count I have 103 Funko's haha. I started with a few, and that great into an addiction. My wife fully supports it since I got her the Harry Potter ones haha.

My wife and I honestly wear our cheap 10$ silicone bands that we got from amazon more than our actual wedding bands. My wedding band is lose cause of the weight I lost and its one that can't be resized easily(It's tungsten I think or something).... so I tend to just wear the silicone one more. She has like 10 different color silicone ones that she switches out depending on her mood. Think they cost us like 20$ on amazon between the two of us for like a package of 10 or 15.

My wife knows that I saved nearly a grand on her wedding band thanks to Littman have the incorrect price listed, so I don’t really have a good case. This one isn’t bad, and seeing as how she’s the frugal one, I’ll just do it.

Can't you go to a physical branch and have them generate a new card?
