Turns out King Tut was more European than African.
Tutankhamun belongs to the haplogroup R-M269, which more than 50% of all men in Western Europe belong to.

But all Europeans are more or less African.

In a general sense, sure. In that way everyone is more or less African.

What's interesting about this is that King Tut (and other Egyptian royalty, including Cleopatra) do not have similar haplo whatevers to local Egyptians.

Didn't mean to be flippant. I saw a documentary the other day about the Neandertheals and the first homo sapiens coming to Europe, and how we still share 2-5% percent of their genes, etc. Really fascinating.

Didn't think you were flippant.

DNA mapping is interesting, and I haven't gotten one done through Ancestry or whoever because I don't trust them.

It was a riot. The best way I can put it is: it's the closest thing I have ever seen to real life animation. By that I mean, the stuff involved is just so random and ridiculous, from the random characters that appear to the campy, but delectable, choreography...it's like real life broke free from the limitations of reality to become a cartoon...

Sat in the upper deck, it was a little tough sometimes to see some things and I know I probably missed a couple jokes as a result...it was much more visual than I had anticipated actually, I figured the genius of it would be in the writing but it's a full-figured, fun show...

For timing purposes, it went 2:25 with a 17 minute intermission at the 1:05 mark give or take...

Would recommend.

Yeah, we’re looking st the “obstructed view” seats in the first row of the upper level.

Everybody raves about it and I love Matt and Trey, so we’ll probably go.

Thanks for the review!

Just got two in the first row of the upper deck for $97 with all fees for Thursday night.

Were you left or right side of the stage looking at it?

Nice. I was on the left upper deck...so the stage was to my right.

Greatest piece of entertainment in history imo. I have a Hasa Diga Ebowai t-shirt and a Ugandan **** frog plushy. 8-)

I never know what to get my dad for Father's Day, and nearly every gift list I read contains garbage that I'm pretty sure women picked out for themselves.

At first I was like, I'm not buying any Funko Pop stuff. Then I saw Ron Swanson and had to have it. Then came John Hammond and Ian Malcolm. Then the entire Die Hard cast. And now these (@tifosi77):

At least now I know what I want for Father's Day.

I’ll be traveling for work this year on Father’s Day. My wife and both seem to be of the same mindset: “meh... gotta do what ya gotta do.” But some of our family and my coworkers seem upset about it.

I personally don't care about Father's Day for myself. It's just another day.

I use father's day to buy an expensive tool I've been wanting. Other than that, IDGAF

My wife caught a foul ball with her ass tonight. So proud.

Second inning, sky high foul ball into section 125. She leaned forward and it came down between the seatback and her ass and it stuck there without bouncing out. The usher was impressed.
nice! I once caught a puck with my shoulder. we were 1st row at a WHL Vancouver Giants game. I was taking pictures (with an actual camera!) and a puck was shot out of play, went high up in the air and landed on my shoulder. worked out well because I collect game pucks from every arena we visit and their gift shop didn't have any because it was the first week of the season. :fist:
