Today's one of those days where I'm ever so grateful to have a 2-car garage. Not a single person looked pleased about scraping the ice off their cars on our walk to the bus stop this morning.
Every day in the winter I am glad for the 2-car garage.

I'm excited to to find that my van fits into the garage at the country house. It probably won't when we cement the floor, but for now it tucks in there. I'm thinking of putting the Delorean in there for the winter as well, in a bubble like this:

Not worried about climate, etc. Just really do not want rodents getting into it. The bubble has a stiff base and then zippers tightly closed. As it is now the DMC is sitting in one of the bays of my city house garage, so my daily driver is in the driveway. Sad!

Thirded. Every time it snows, I am so grateful I am not having to brush snow off my car.

You could put a leaf blower and some styrofoam grains in it to have the goofiest snow globe.

If he's going to do that, he'll also need to construct a BTTF themed backdrop.

Last day of winter break between Fall 95 and Spring 96 I went to Washington DC for an afternoon, and then out to Fairfax to see a movie before heading home. Perfectly fine when I went into the show, and when I came out there was a foot of snow on the ground, and more coming down by the minute. Took me something like two hours to get from Fairfax to the Beltway, which in normal conditions is a 15-minute drive.

I was the only person in the parking lot with a snow brush in my car. Everyone else was doing the pull-their-jacket-cuff-down-over-their-hand move to wipe off their windshields. Gave me a hoot.

As I recall, DC blew their entire seasonal snow removal budget that night, and there were something like three or four more days of snow yet to fall. When it comes to weather, they very much consider themselves 'southern', so when anything remotely bad happens they're screwed.

Facebook’s 3D photo feature is actually pretty damn cool. The aquarium stores I liked there all post amazing 3D photos of their tanks.

Gorgeous evening out in a stand. Didn't see a buck worth shooting, but a couple hours sitting out in the woods is better than sitting anywhere else.

I finally got a Moderator warning on another board, I have been waiting to see a violation, it took a long time. However, I got a warning for just saying "No" as a response with the Mod note of "Non constructive criticism ... must answer the question "why"" (trimmed). I've been basically full out, old school, LGP jack-hole Jim for months, getting in straight up indignant discussions with excessive levels of passive aggressive belittling... and I get my first warning (not even a violation) for saying "no"

Mod logic.
