There's going to be a Buddy the Elf popup bar at the Hotel Monaco downtown Dec. 13th and 14th:

I want to try the "Bye Buddy, I Hope You Find Your Dad". That one sounds the best to me.

Just had to stop a catfight between three moms in our parking lot. Three women having a shouty time in their cars and one says, "Get out ya car ya dumb *****", and she does. Then some yelling ensues with charges about boyfriend infidelity and selling dope, etc...
I go outside and tell them to please exit the premises in a timely manner, they do.
Exciting times this morning.

Our building is right across from a school, so presumably these pajama-clad white trashites had just sent their little ones to get an education.

So I’m home today, waiting for the new HVAC to get installed. I’m cleaning the garage/driveway to keep the leaves and dirt out of the house right around 7:45 this morning. My neighbor, with no shirt on, goes out and starts up his truck and heads back in the house. It sits there idling for 50 minutes until he leaves for work. It’s about 60F this morning, and he obviously knew that by going outside with no shirt on. WTF?

I saw some high school kid waiting at his bus stop last week in gym shorts. Really thought that trend would wear out.

What's the "trend"? Wearing gym shorts?

There was a little kerfuffle a while back about teens wearing summer clothes in the winter. I recall it making the (local, failing) news at one point.

Yinzers wearing shorts in stupidly cold weather has made national news in the past:

My kids wear shorts year round, but “winter” is a relative term here. I have friends with kids in Colorado and Maine that wear shorts there year round. That’s a different story.

That's not really a trend... it's just a part of life. I remember my sister's boyfriend from high school would never wear anything but shorts (not necessarily gym shorts, but always shorts). I think their prom was the first and only time I saw him wearing pants.

One of my boys wears shorts whenever possible, and the other only wears shorts when going swimming.

The real baller students were those at Bethel Park Senior High that wore shorts in the winter back when the school was campus style.

The “coolest” I got was wearing a relatively thin hoody waiting for the bus stop. Thought I could tough it out. Now that I’m older, I’m fully decked-out in warm clothes like a normal person.

Fiancé played volleyball through college and coached middle school volleyball for many years so I was planning on getting us tickets to see the NCAA championships at PPG. The cheapest seat is $70. Yeah.. never mind.
