I mean, that's essentially what you're doing when you shop there.

we have a walmart, aldis, martins, bilos, and GE and GE appears to be the most expensive store in town, I rarely go there. They do have a decent beer selection though.

I can't recommend Walmart Grocery pickup strongly enough. And it's free, too. Not having to set foot in Walmart is a glorious thing.

My grocery store options are the worst. Walmart, Save-A-Lot, and a local discount store. Walmart wins by default. Martins is 30 mins away. Wegmans is 1 hour the other way.

My experience is that any store that has "Save" in it's name is not worth your time.

The Wegmans on Tilghman in Lehigh Valley is a must stop any time I'm in that area.

While on this topic, I still can't believe how expensive Giant Eagle is. Nearly everything in Western PA is cheaper than this area, and it's like Giant Eagle took that as a challenge.
This is the reason why I call it Giant Ripoff

I've been a Wegman's fan for a long time. We used to live 3 minutes from the one in Malvern, which was dangerous. Now, I can stop at the one in Downingtown on my way home. The quality is extremely top-notch, and the customer service is as good as it gets. Even though it's busy, I love going there on Saturdays because you can't beat the samples they have. They had rockfish samples (pan seared and finished in lemon dill butter), and they were so good I ended up buying a couple filets and the butter :lol;

That's probably the worst possible place to go hungry though.

Wegmans would rip Big Bird a new one here. This market really needs grocery competition.

I bet a tough guy like @shyster would love to shoot a new born elephant and display it in his living room.

Also Africa related: the best weed I’ve ever smoked was smuggled back from that continent. It might or might not have been laced with opium; either way, it would have been super as is.

I haven't been to a Wegmans, although one is set to open here in the fall, but Publix >>> any other grocery store I've regularly shopped in. The worst was the U-Save in Ft. Myers. Lots of expired foods, including luncheon meats, on the shelves.

Publix subs are top shelf.
Agree that publix is undefeated in the grocery wars

Publix, in my experience, does not have the same quality of beer selection as Wegmans.

Yes

There is no superior grocery made food to publix fried chicken

Has it been following me while screaming death threats at my wife and children?

That would require a few improbable steps on your part...

But, yeah, you would kill a baby elephant, if you could get away with it?
