Hope he recovers soon as I'm not looking forward to Jeopardy with Chris Hardwick.

I'm waiting for the K Mart in Moon to go 75%+ before they close.

The Sears here in State College is closing this month... they've their liquidation sale going for about a month now. Got a nice work light for my garage and a few other things pretty cheap. The big winner would be home owners looking for new appliances. 60-70% off.

When Trebek goes, much like Price is Right, I will never watch another episode again.

Ours never went past 40%, I don't believe. I always found that odd, because it's not like they're going to simply return the merchandise to the manufacturers. It's all liquidated at even lower rates to wholesalers and such.

The same thing is happening with our local Teavana. They're closing their doors for good in the next few months, and have not had anything on sale. Some money is apparently better than no money.

Teavana didn't have the blueberry tea my wife likes so much. She bought it from their store at the Mall of America but can't find it locally.

Blueberries > pizza

And that one I actually standby. If I had to give up one for life, it's pizza...easy...

You could literally give up anything for life, and you'd pick pizza? Wat?

Teavana's online inventory is dwindling since the announcement of their closure. You can't buy a lot of the stuff that you used to be able to, and they generally direct you to the local stores if you check online. My wife ran into the same issue with the blends that she likes.

pizza is a crohn's nightmare. gluten, dairy and nightshades all competing to see who can inflame your guts more.

i imagine this is what is going on here.

Yeah...pizza is tough to digest...along with red meat, nuts, seeds, certain types of bread (brioche, for one...all the good ones are ok though: potato, wheat, rye - but I'm not a big bread eater in general though...wrap life), any organic meat...difficult to digest...so I avoid these things...

That said, even before all this...I don't think there's a point in my life where I would take pizza over blueberries...

This is up there with the dopes who would give up sex for cheese.

It's not that the decision is to give up pizza that's weird. It's the decision to give it up in favor of...... blueberries? This has nothing to do with digestive issues, this is just....... loopy.

Unless 'blueberries' is a euphemism from Ellipsis School and is meant to stand in for 'smoke show redheads called Heidi' or something like that, this take is an early front runner for Worst Take of 2018.
