You might have better luck taking them to a local place that takes in that kind of stuff or do it on Facebook marketplace. From experience unless you have super rare stuff they aren’t gonna get you much $$$ wise regardless.

I scanned all of the BR and obscure titles and the total was like $11. Not worth the effort, so into the trash pile.

The most valuable according to the Decluttr app? Guyver 1 and 2 (love them both) at just under $2 each.

Anyone ever sell a large collection of DVDs? I know I can do it on eBay, but the thought of putting them all up there and dealing with single transactions and trips to the post office completely turns me off. I have two large boxes just filled with them that I'd like to unload.
I would only consider selling them as a lot on eBay. That'll maximize your time/value.

Sincerely,
Long time eBay seller

That was my first thought. I have so many DVDs that I'd end up having to break it up into 5+ smaller collections, though. The boxes these are currently stored in are like 3' tall and have 6 columns of DVDs inside.

I can count the number of DVDs and blu-rays I’ve purchased on my fingers. I don’t understand having more than like 6

Do you have a list of what all movies are in there?

Obviously you haven't said to yourself, I haven't watched that Orgazmo DVD that's been sitting untouched on your shelf for 22 years, and then being able to freely go grab it while also knowing for the last 22 years you heard why do you have so many DVDs and why do they take up so much room when we need more room.

Not anymore, no. I used to have a DVD Profiler database of most of my collection, but that DB is long gone, and my online account shows 0 titles.

I was born in 1986, my first name is Jessicae, I agree with most of Jessica's political positions, and I drink a lot of coffee... So, I'd say I'm a pretty average fella.

from a technical perspective, it annoys me how he conflates "median" with "average"

Junk removal guys are here. One of them looks like he could lift my house off the foundation and carry it away. They’re making short work of the absurd pile downstairs, and the one thing I found out today is that they sort everything at their facility, and then donate what can be reused. I’ll be getting a donation receipt in a few weeks when this is all complete.

I imagine that it’s against the law to provide fraudulent donation receipts, so if I get any, I’ll go ahead and trust the the stuff was donated. Not every local business is bad.
