It's obviously sad but I have a hard time feeling too sad for someone who had an open bottle of vodka in her car, caused an accident, fled the scene at ridiculous speed, and crashed into a house, destroying it and nearly killing the woman who lived there.
That said, Volcano is a guilty pleasure.

I wasn't aware of the details. But I always had a soft spot for her.

"Waiter, I believe someone barfed on my plate."
Seriously, what the eff is that? Looks like ground beef and carrots in some sort of sauce?

The potatoes are what put this over the top for me.

Deconstructed sadness
Actually think it's just beef stew, or a play on farmer's pie (which is shepherd's pie but with beef instead of lamb). Please tell me @Melfyx is a parody account; that thread 'goes there' in a way that I can only say explains Boris Johnson's onetime political viability.

Those are 100% boiled potatoes, and I doubt even a pinch of salt was used at any point in the process.

I believe we are looking at "Scottish mince and tatties." Ground beef, carrots, onions, Worcestershire sauce, and gravy mix ("mince") served with boiled or mashed potatoes ("tatties").

Well, I believe we are looking at lukewarm vomit. But what do I know.

Not a parody account, I'm afraid.

Where they stop the lava - Whilshire/Fairfax - is the end of the block I lived on for 6 years. It's obviously sad but I have a hard time feeling too sad for someone who had an open bottle of vodka in her car, caused an accident, fled the scene at ridiculous speed, and crashed into a house, destroying it and nearly killing the woman who lived there.

But sadly Anne Heche isn't the only bonkers car crash we've had in LA in the past week.
Fatality crash, no graphic content in clip:

The Windsor Hills driver supposedly has 13 prior car accidents on her record, including one in 2020 where two cars were totaled. Her lawyer also says that the has “documented profound mental health issues." Maybe a suicide-by-car-crash attempt? If so, she should still have the book thrown at her for attempting suicide in a way that so gravely endangered other people.

Windsor Hills: She was driving over 90 mph, and the cross traffic (Slauson Ave) had been green for 9 seconds before the crash.
The initial reports were that she had been day (morning) drinking and got into some kind of argument/fight and bolted off. But now they're saying she might have been leaving work at the Kaiser hospital a few miles from the accident site. That part of LaBrea Ave has limited access from traffic approaching from the west (especially for an out-of-towner who might not know side streets), and is basically an expressway with few signal lights over around a 2.5-3 mi run. So I'm wondering how far she actually traveled that rate of speed. Could be as little as half a mile, or as much as a couple miles driving at that speed. She could've had her accident at any point along that route by nudging her wheel slightly to the right and gone into the trees at Hahn Park. But no, she had to barrel into Slauson and eject a 1-year old baby out of its car seat and into the gas station forecourt.

Well doesn't Germany just seem woefully unappealing now.

Northrhine-Westphalia, where I live, is nothing like California. In fact, Pennsylvania makes way more sense.
Also, I didn't know Colorado was overrun by Nazis. Maybe it's a militia thing? Lots of freedumb fighters in Colorado? I dunno.
