A PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS OCCURRED 11/04/2017 AT UPMC HOSPITAL IN ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY. 26 YEAR OLD CHANTEL MARIE CHRISTY OF ALTOONA WAS A PASSENGER OF A DUI ARREST. CHRISTY WAS DISCOVERED TO BE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL AND UNABLE TO DRIVE HERSELF FROM THE SCENE. SHE REFUSED TO GET A RIDE FROM THE SCENE AND BECAME COMBATIVE. SHE WAS ARRESTED FOR PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS. AFTER BEING TRANSPORTED FROM THE SCENE, SHE WAS GOING TO BE RELEASED TO HER MOTHER. AFTER THE HANDCUFFS WERE REMOVED FROM CHRISTY SHE ATTEMPTED TO PUNCH THE TROOPER INSTEAD OF GETTING INTO HER MOTHER'S VEHICLE. AS A RESULT, SHE WAS ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT. SHE WAS TAKEN BACK INTO CUSTODY AND LODGED IN THE BLAIR COUNTY JAIL. WE CONTACTED THE JAIL FOR HER MUG SHOT, AND THE JAIL STATED SHE WAS NOT THERE. CHARGES HAVE NOT BEEN POSTED IN THIS CASE AT THE TIME OF THIS POST.

A 76-year-old Hamilton man has been arrested after allegedly asking a young boy to engage in sexual activity inside a YMCA change room

Bonar Hunter, 76, was arrested on March 22 and is charged with invitation to sexual touching.

A HARASSMENT OCCURRED 11/07/2017 AT 20434 CHERRY STREET IN BROAD TOP BOROUGH, HUNTINGDON COUNTY. A 38 YEAR OLD MALE FROM BROAD TOP CITY ENTERED INTO A VERBAL ALTERCATION WITH A 10 YEAR OLD FEMALE. THE MALE STRUCK THE VICTIM IN THE FACE WITH A BAG OF COUGH DROPS.

A POSSESSION OF A WEAPON ON SCHOOL PROPERTY OCCURRED 11/21/2017 AT 159 RED BIRD DRIVE IN TAYLOR TWP, FULTON COUNTY. A 17 YEAR OLD MALE FROM WELLS TANNERY HAD A RIFLE IN HIS VEHICLE THAT WAS ON THE FORBES ROAD HIGH SCHOOL GROUNDS.

I completely agree that (sadly) in this day and age you can't do that...that said, assuming the rifle was not loaded and the ammo was locked away, I hope they don't come down too hard on him.

A MURDER/SUICIDE OCCURRED 12/11/2017 AT 2303 SAWDUST DRIVE IN SAXTON, HUNTINGDON COUNTY. STATE POLICE IN HUNTINGDON AND BEDFORD RESPONDED TO THE LISTED LOCATION FOR A SHOOTING INCIDENT. POLICE HAD TO FORCE THEIR WAY INTO THE RESIDENCE. ONCE INSIDE POLICE FOUND 33 YEAR OLD MARK LEMIN AND 20 YEAR OLD KAYLA RUBY DECEASED INSIDE THE RESIDENCE. THROUGH THE INVESTIGATION IS WAS DISCOVERED THAT LEMIN SHOT HIS GIRLFRIEND AND THEN HIMSELF A SHORT TIME LATER. BOTH LIVED TOGETHER AT THE RESIDENCE.

AN AGGRAVATED ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER OCCURRED 12/24/2017 ALONG SPANG ST EXTENSION OUTSIDE ROARING SPRING, BLAIR COUNTY. 21 YEAR OLD DAKOTA AUSTIN OTT OF ROARING SPRING APPEARED IN PUBLIC WHILE MANIFESTLY UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS AND ALCOHOL. HE STRIPPED COMPLETELY NAKED IN BELOW FREEZING WEATHER AND ACTED DISORDERLY IN PUBLIC. HE THREW BENCHES, A TABLE, AND A GRILL OFF A PORCH BELONGING TO 79 YEAR OLD GLENN IMLER. OTT THEN ENTERED INTO A VEHICLE OWNED BY 73 YEAR OLD JAMES BOWSERS AND BEGAN BLOWING THE HORN. WHEN ENCOUNTERED BY STATE POLICE, OTT WAS NAKED AND SITTING IN THE DRIVERS SEAT OF BOWERS'S VEHICLE. UPON BEING APPROACHED HE IMMEDIATELY BECAME HOSTILE AND APPROACHED OFFICERS IN A THREATENING MANNER. OTT WAS TASED, AND RESISTED ARREST. OTT ENTERED INTO A GARAGE OWNED BY BOWSERS. HE WAS THEN SUBDUED AND APPREHENDED, WHERE HE WAS TRANSPORTED TO UPMC ALTOONA. HE WILL BE CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED ASSAULT, BURGLARY, CRIMINAL TRESPASS, AND OTHER OFFENSES.

lolol....we have a couple of good friends that live in Roaring Spring. I think the scent from the paper mill drives all the locals batty.

A charge of Retail Theft was filed on Christopher Allen Helsel, 32, of 12 South Spring Street, Everett. Helsel entered the Sheetz store, located at 11 West Main St., on 12-30-2017 at 4:45 pm, and while there, stole a Candy bar valued at $1.29 and left the store without paying for it. This act was caught on video and turned over to the Everett Police.


A charge of Retail Theft was filed on 24 year old Eben Shelton Macon of 505 West Main St., Everett.Macon was observed by video on 12-28-2017 at 12:56 am, taking a Bic Lighter valued at $1. 29, from the Sheetz store, at 11 West Main Street, and leaving the store without paying for the lighter. The theft violation was turned into the Everett Police Department, Police then filed charges at District Judge Kathy Calhoun office on Jan. 4th 2018.

A HARASSMENT OCCURRED 01/24/2018 AT 2633 BRIAR VALLEY ROAD IN BEDFORD TWP, BEDFORD COUNTY. 38 YEAR OLD RENEE BURKETT WAS ENGAGED IN A VERBAL ALTERCATION THAT TURNED PHYSICAL AFTER SHE THREW A TV REMOTE AND SMACKED HER HUSBAND 42 YEAR OLD JASON BURKETT WITH A PHONE CHARGER. JASON CONTACTED STATE POLICE AND STATE THAT SHE STARTED GOING CRAZY AFTER HE TOLD HER SHE NEEDED TO LEAVE. RENEE BURKETT WILL BE CHARGED WITH HARASSMENT.
