No doubt, Greg Brown will be wetting his pants for those events

If we just had a rotation. I don't hate this lineup if Bae is floating around as a super utility type too

You would need a the best rotation in the league to break .500 with that lineup.

I'm anticipating Davis and/or Endy up around June to fill the black hole at C

You don't have faith in career .017 hitter Austin Hedges?

lol Greg Brown is a turd sniffer. I hope he got paid a ton of money to boast for the Pirates as much as he does, in the fashion he does.

Brown does seem to give strong passive aggressive disdain in his play by play when they play terrible baseball. I always wonder if he gets yelled at for that

This is some peak Yinzer Appeasement to distract everyone from the impending Reynolds trade where they deal him for crap. I'm in. Let's roll.

Hahahahahahah Greg Brown. That is a golden quote.

I also love that the top 653 replies to Tomlin are "Fire Canada!"

Pirates "haters" torture themselves. If all you can focus on is the disappointment when reading between the lines, you get to be disappointed twice... they give is enough reasons to be disappointed such that we don't need to manufacture more

Olney saying teams assume pirates keeping Reynolds this offseason.

Would at least make the offense very watchable

Why should they trade him now? This year is his chance to prove his value.

Last season's performance was nothing spectacular.

Homer announcers are the worst sometimes, but I have a soft spot for Greg Brown. That man deserves to call a world series for the Bucs. He's been through it all and he actually has to watch every pitch of this crap.

He doesn’t have to prove anything

Offense was down across the board last year, so an .800 ops is a good year. I know I was down on him at times last year, but it took till the end of the year to see how he eventually landed as a top 10 outfielder in the nl at least.

Also why mccutchen’s .700 ops last year isn’t terrible, and shows that he’s still a productive player.

Last year was kind of just a strange season, you had guys like judge, ohtani and Alvarez with mvp type season, but the tier below the elite was just not as good, where I am pretty sure getting over that .800 mark basically puts you in the second tier
