Attended maybe the wildest game I've ever seen -- UCF 107, Memphis 104 in double overtime. The game took nearly 3 hours thanks to numerous reviews, including a lengthy one to figure out if they had the score correct during the 2nd OT. Memphis was up 11 with 5:00 left and up 5 with 1:13 left. Memphis's Kendric Davis put 42 on the board and got to the free throw line 24 times because UCF refused to deny him the ball and then had no clue how to handle him when he did have the ball. However, Davis had a decent look at a 3 to tie late but hesitated and tried to get a foul, which was a pretty dumb move. Really fun game but was also pretty sloppy at times.

Meanwhile, I won't be making any last-second road trips for March Madness because my team will not be participating...again.

Yeah another good win for PSU. Indiana 1-4 in B1G. Woof.

Couple good BE Rock fights as Marquette beat UConn and X beat preseason favorite Creighton. Big test for Friars at Creighton on Saturday. They can get to 7-0 in conference while Creighton risks falling to 9-9 (3-4) and maybe the wrong side of the bubble.

UConn losing 4 of 5 including to a meh, tough but undisciplined St. John's team at home warms my heart.

In a video posted by AL.com, an emotional Miles can be heard saying, "I swear ... I love you more than you imagine" to someone as he is escorted into a law enforcement vehicle.
I think he shot his lady.

Just out of curiosity and having it on my bucket list, checked into what it takes to get Gonzaga home game tickets.

Short version: you can't.

Long version: you can donate $250 to get on the list to maybe luck into the opportunity to buy tickets. Or you can get to know someone in Spokane who might allow you to purchase theirs for a night. There were 2 tickets on StubHub to one game in February for $1,040 each. Most game, no tickets available secondhand.

This is, like, even for games like Portland or Loyola Marymount they'll win by 40.

If you're the school, I guess it's a good problem to have? You could always go see a WSU or Idaho game.

That's pretty wild.

As an aside, I didn't realize how close Wazzu and the U of Idaho were to each other until that murder story last month. 11 minute drive from Pullman to Moscow, ID.

LMU found the right formula tonight. Also helps when you shoot 60% in the 2nd half and have a point guard with no conscience. Timme got a dose of kryptonite there in the final minute and change with the missed free throws and then getting schooled on D and then missing the high-percentage hook in the lane. Good on the Lions for going in there and getting it done.

I was gonna say Kent shoot, Kent defend, Kent State.

That Akron defense was pretty intense. Carry had zero space to work with.
