I was just reading about WVU and how they are proactively going into austerity mode because of impending state budget cuts and declining enrollment. Getting Huggins to take a pay cut might just save some jobs somewhere there.

Yeah, I'm fine with the punishment. Losing a $1M per year is a pretty stiff punishment.

I wanted him fired because as long as he is there WVU will be good. But we can only dream....

Except that $1 million is going to go toward WVU LBGTQ+ organizations as well as a donation to Xavier. So they're still gonna spend it, just using a different resource.

If he didn't get **** canned last month, I don't see it happening this month either. But what more can they do, cut his salary another million bucks? (That would put him all the way down to $2.2 mil btw).

Guy's gotta be a millionaire many times over, call a freaking uber or get a hotel. That way the worst that would happen is "wow you shoulda seen how wasted Bob Huggins was when I drove him back to Morgantown last night, he puked all over my car!" and not getting arrested for DUI and putting your job not to mention peoples lives including your own in jeopardy.

A year’s suspension, 30 or 60-day rehab, and AA meetings. Re-evaluate after that one year. The guy has a health problem and needs help.
