I wish I had thought of Elonoi. But can we all just pause for a moment and acknowledge the complete jackholery of creating an ostensibly anti-Musk/Twitter thread that is full of almost nothing but Twitter posts.
You guys kind of suck at this. Cut the cord.

On a long enough timeline there is always a turd in the punch bowl.

I use Twitter for movie, book, music, and hockey news. That's it. I have a timer for 30 minutes a day. Lately, 20 of those minutes are laughter from how dumb he is. I am definitely not cutting the cord unless I start losing my movie and hockey news.

None of you who are on Twitter are leaving Twitter over Elon Musk, and neither will 99% of the blue-check whiners who are currently making threats to do so, just like all of the Democrats who didn't move to Canada when Trump won in 2016.

Shyster, you should be careful. "none" is a strong hurdle to overcome, it only takes one person to be wrong.

Quite true. Everyone in here with a Twitter account should immediately and permanently delete it in order to prove me wrong.

It looks like Daniel Radcliffe's Twitter account has been suspended, because he was using it to promote his Weird Al biopic by parodying Al?
Or is this really great marketing for the film?

Just a quick drive-by here to remind everyone of The Onion's recent amicus brief to SCOTUS.
I. Parody Functions By Tricking People Into Thinking That It Is Real
II. Because Parody Mimics “The Real Thing,” It Has The Unique Capacity To Critique The Real Thing
III. A Reasonable Reader Does Not Need A Disclaimer To Know That Parody Is Parody
IV. It Should Be Obvious That Parodists Cannot Be Prosecuted For Telling A Joke With A Straight Face

III. A Reasonable Reader Does Not Need A Disclaimer To Know That Parody Is Parody
IV. It Should Be Obvious That Parodists Cannot Be Prosecuted For Telling A Joke With A Straight Face
Put simply, for parody to work, it has to plausibly mimic the original. [Stupid] decision in this 4 case would condition the First Amendment’s protection for parody upon a requirement that parodists explicitly say, up-front, that their work is nothing more than an elaborate fiction. But that would strip parody of the very thing that makes it function.
The second reason—perhaps mildly more important—is that the phrase “you are dumb” captures the very heart of parody: tricking readers into believing that they’re seeing a serious rendering of some specific form—a pop song lyric, a newspaper article, a police beat—and then allowing them to laugh at their own gullibility when they realize that they’ve fallen victim to one of the oldest tricks in the history of rhetoric. See San Francisco Bay Guardian, Inc. v. Super. Ct., 21 Cal. Rptr. 2d 464, 466 (Ct. App. 1993) (“[T]he very nature of parody . . . is to catch the reader off guard at f irst glance, after which the ‘victim’ recognizes that the joke is on him to the extent that it caught him unaware.”).
And so on. For as we know, the point of free speech is free as in liberty, not free as in $$$.That leverage of form—the mimicry of a particular idiom in order to heighten dissonance between form and content—is what generates parody’s rhetorical power. Campbell v. Acuff-Rose Music, Inc., 510 U.S. 569, 580-81 (1994) (“Parody needs to mimic an original to make its point.”).
