I like the idea of the cyber truck if they could actually pull off what they promised, and it wasn't a Tesla lol.
Until then, it's a nintendo.

It looks like a pile of ****, which is very on brand for Tesla.

I think that would look a little better with less of a flare on the fenders, personally.

When I put in for the pre order, I was still commuting to work, 145 miles round trip. I had always wanted a truck but because if the commute, couldn't ever have it. It's also worth noting that we have free (employer sponsored) EV charging at our office. So it made sense from a multitude of reasons. Styling and design maybe not one of those reasons lol

Until they make a fully electric truck that can tow on a battery for more than 200 miles, then recharge within 20 minutes, they are worthless to me.

Interesting that's what got your attention, as opposed to the roof line looking like someone dropped an anvil on the standard Ram.

lol... I actually like that it's not the traditional bulky cab, and think that helps differentiate itself. I do think the back of the cab looks weird with how that angled cut meets the bed, though.I think that would look a little better with less of a flare on the fenders, personally.

I think that exaggerates the flares. They had to do something to limit frontal areaI think that would look a little better with less of a flare on the fenders, personally.

Same.I thought it was pulling a NES at first.

This is a concept btw. I wouldn’t be surprised if the production design is more traditional. The point is that legacy OEMs and even new start ups have caught up and often surpassed Tesla at their own game.

That’s a net good thing.
Of course being a top luxury car brand does not justify anything near the current stock price, which is this issue here. Not whether Tesla has succeeded (it has). But it has mostly succeeded in transferring wealth directly to musk

The fact that this was posted here and not the car thread just shows that it's a bad attempt at a troll from Shyster. Tesla isn't a luxury car brand, and anyone who has actually been in or driven an actual luxury car can confirm as such.

I would consider them close to being so now.Volvo is a luxury brand?
tifosi77's thread of Musk
Whether something is a luxury car is subjective, as there is no set definition. But I would note that Consumer Reports, for one, classifies the various Tesla models as luxury cars (3 = luxury compact; S = ultra luxury; Y = luxury compact sport-utility; X = luxury midsized sport-utility). Motor Trend lists the Model 3 as its #1 best luxury compact sedan and the Model S as the #2 best electric luxury car. Tesla certainly competes with marques like BMW and Mercedes when it comes to price. And what competitors would one look at when cross-shopping, say, a Model S? Why, cars like the Mercedes-Benz EQS (a luxury car), Porsche Taycan (a luxury car), and BMW i7 (a luxury car). Tesla not only makes and sells more luxury cars, it made and sold more of them in the US than anyone else.

Tesla does not make luxury cars by any competent person's standards.
