What does the number next to the trophy mean? I thought it was position or even money list but it is not.

The fact that they show FedEx cup position ever like anyone gives a **** let alone in January is just bonkers
FedEx paid a lot of money for the PGA to have as many FedEx Cup references as possible.

I don't get why they are playing lift and place but that is probably part of it.

Well it's a par 73 so they get an extra par 5 to go low on vs the normal week. Also lift clean place which seems unnecessary

Interesting, never heard of that rule. I do that when I get a mud ball, which is every shot if you play a course now

Nope...one less par 3 than usual so that's why it's a par 73.

Rahm and JT both with 61s today. Impressive, considering it's a Par 73 the hard way. Two horse race tomorrow. Gotta favor Rahm but my boy Cameron has that joe dirt energy
