I hadn't seen the interview before. Obviously confirmation bias comes into play but his mannerisms look weird

Seems like a normal interview to me.

Supposedly he's been making an effort to be more affable now that he's an also-ran.

Further down the thread @dodint shared earlier. No skid marks that I can see. Would be shocked if this wasn't medication related.

According to the press conference just now from the sherriff department it doesn't sound nearly as bad as first reported.

No other injuries other than his legs, didn't have to airlift.

Maybe its a me thing, but if I were worth $900m i sure as **** wouldn't be driving a Hyundai.

Hell, I wouldn't be driving at all. Especially if I had a pill hobby

There was a Hyundai-sponsored tournament in town over the weekend. He was here for that event, and the SUV was a courtesy car provided by the organizers.

Tiger is the host of the Genesis Invitational and the car actually had the Genesis Invitational logo on the side. Could have been taking it back to the dealership for all we know

If, as TMZ suggests, he was angry and determined to cover 60-minute drive in 30 minutes, he could have driven the safest car in the galaxy, and still have the same result...

I had a compound break and torn ligaments in my ankle during highschool. Took a year+ at 17 to feel even remotely close to normal. Can't imagine how hard it is to come back at his age, plus all his other injuries.

A couple things to note: That stretch of Hawthorne Blvd is notorious for speeders and traffic accidents. It's a 4-lane surface street through a relatively posh neighborhood, and as they noted in the press conference it's not uncommon to tag speeders doing 80+ mph. I can attest to that truth, because we lived sort of adjacent to that area for around 8 years, and the farmers market we'd go to every weekend if off that road, and we've seen plenty of knuckleheads doing knucklehead things there. It's elevated, windy, wide open (there are only like 4 or 5 signal lights over about a 5 mile stretch).

The only hotel in that part of LA is a large resort called Terranea, which is actually a lovely place, and if you ever visit LA I suggest spending an afternoon there at one of the restaurant patios. It's cliffside, and it's not unheard of for gray whales to end up in the cove at the base of the hill during the northern migration. But if he thought he was going to make the drive from Terranea to Pacific Palisades in 30 minutes............. that's some high comedy, there.

You should see what they get at the John Deere.

Pretty much the same for me but sounds like I had less of a break. The bone heals and it's done but the ligaments are gonna give me problems occasionally the rest of my life.

It was a brand-new Genesis GV80, which is a Hyundai in the same way an Acura is a Honda, a Lexus is a Toyota, and an Infiniti is a Nissan. Or an Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, or Porsche is a Volkswagen.

I think there might be one out in Vegas or something like that, but I think there should be more places that are giant adult sandboxes where you can rent a bulldozer, backhoe, front loader, or the like and just drive it around and dig in the dirt. I'd go to one.

There is an episode of Billions centered around one of those places.

That made me super jealous and wish I had **** you money. Not that the experience is unaffordable, but traveling there on my personal helicopter is.
