He made that look like a round at TPC Deere Run. Just ridiculous

Spieth and DJ both rocketing into contention this morning. Simply put, today is going to come down to whether or not Koepka decides to leave the rest of the field behind. If he shoots even par or worse, this leaderboard will get very interesting.

Thru 3 holes today, he’s treating the field like Nolan Ryan treated Robin Ventura.

Good to see local kid Harold Varner, Jr. doing well.

Brooks Koepka the Tom Watson of this era?

Adam Scott sighting! Has a chance to break Koepka's course record with a birdie in the last two holes (and no bogey, of course)

So much for moving day. No one in the Top 30 made a move, except in the opposite direction.

So Koepka will likely have the 2017/18 US Open and the 2018/19 PGA. That's damned impressive

It's not hard to see why he dominates.. it just mystifies me why only majors? He's certainly not bad the rest of the year, but it's bizarre

He admitted on Feherty’s show that he is inconsistent with his prep work outside of majors. He doesn’t practice as much, he does stuff away from the course during tournament week, his team isn’t ‘consistent’. But for majors, he prepares differently by playing the week or two before, honing his practice regimen, and keeping his team consistent - chef, trainer, coach, girlfriend, caddy. He’s just razor sharp with his focus and he’s almost arrogant in the way he says that he’s the most focused of anyone in the field. The recent results back that up.

Brooks put the excitement back into the routine fly ball and got some timely bogeys by DJ on 16 and 17 to survive the mess at Bethpage. Wind was definitely playing with these guys and there was carnage all over.

Had a really nice scramble on Sunday. We ended up at -10. No clue if we won anything (it was a small company scramble, so that score will be close to the winners). Missed a lot of putts too. Could have been way better.

Unfortunately the one dude in our group pulled his back around hole 9, so the second half we were just hitting three of us. He was chipping in putting, but no approach shots or drives. The drives weren't a big deal. Between the 3 of us, we had at least one good one, but the approach shots were tough without that 4th shot.

Yup, that was classic Bethpage brutality yesterday. And that, folks, is why it's nice to have a seven-shot lead going into Sunday of a major.

Which is exactly what Brooks said in the various interviews last nite -- that's why you play well on Thursday-Friday-Saturday so if things get sideways on Sunday, you have a little bit of cushion.

Makes it sound so easy. And that folks, is exactly why you build a 7 shot lead heading into a major Sunday!

Went out for the first time today for 18. Hit a 102, which for me is not bad at all.

Scramble this morning. -5 through 6 and finished -8. That's what we call hitting the wall. Always fun to be out on a perfect day regardless
