@crusherstasiak

I just advanced to the Tour Pro tier, and had my first #1 finish in one of the weekly single play tournaments. Movin' on up!

Goydos, Furyk, Hadwin, and now Snedeker. 4th time I have been ringside for a sub-60 round after Brandt’s masterpiece this morning.

With a bogey mixed in as well. That's nuts. I once strung together 7 consecutive pars and felt like I could conquer the world. Can't even imagine a round like that.

Which one of Furyk's sub-60 rounds were you ringside for?

The 58 in Hartford. Snedeker’s opening tee shot was yanked into the trees and he missed a 7-footer for par. He slam-dunked an approach for eagle at 6 (you can hear me on the video of it on the broadcast). It hit the hole so hard that they had to cut another hole about 20 inches away from the original. Then, he nearly aced 7. Then he missed a 6-footer for birdie but ran in the fringe putt birdie at 9 followed by a horrific high five with Horschel.

He’s certainly not a big name, but it’s nice to see Sam Saunders make the FedEx Cup and keep his tour card for the first time in his career. Being a fringe guy just trying to hang on in the PGA seems stressful enough without added pressure of being Arnie’s grandson. Dude shot a 59 in the first round of the Web.com Tour Championship last year, so the talent is there. Maybe this will help loosen him up a little.

Could tell yesterday after his round that a lot of pressure had been lifted from his shoulders. He said it was very gratifying to put it all together and show that he had a good enough season to keep his card rather than a hot tournament in the Web finals. He’s also very well-spoken and is a credit to his upbringing.

I find it easy and cheap enough to fly with my travel bag on Southwest since my luggage is free. If I wasn't on Southwest and didn't have a bag, ship sticks may be a better option

Yes. Generally I do Southwest, particularly easy for a weekend trip in which I have enough for my carry on but check the clubs. Has always worked out for me.

**** I thought playing everyday meant every calendar day and not a 24 hrs cycle. Just lost a 21 day streak.

Yes. It's great. Tax season hit and I tailed off and haven't played much since winter, but pretty pumped to download the new game when I get back from Vegas next weekend and get back into it

my PS4 is downloading The Golf Club 19 as we speak. should be interesting. I haven't played a golf video game since Tiger Woods for Wii came out. also should be interesting because now that I play golf IRL I should actually know what I'm doing, in theory :lol:

Full game. I was intrigued and planning to purchase eventually, but then I learned about TGC Tours and plan to get it ASAP so I can perfect my game before Q-School.

Your three Captain's picks: Phil, Tiger, DeChambeau. Have to figure this is the swan song for Phil, possibly Tiger. The driving accuracy issue worries me with how bad we've been historically at foursomes, but we'll see.

I expect the last pick to be Finau. Dude has been great this year but just hasn’t been able to win one.
