Yep, Iron Valley is around $80 I thinkone of my club's courses is a Pete Dye. They think it's god's gift to earth though and overcharge - plus the Dye factor gets too much traffic and it's always packed with their resort guests. Sweet course to play once a year
Fowler's Mill in Geauga Ohio is a fun underrated Dye track

I'm anti-Dye, shaf. Sorry I can't be much help.

The only ones I can see (on his website) are the 2 Nemacolin courses and Montour Country Club
Aka, unless we're shelling out or getting lucky, none of us here are going to be playing them.

My buddy has played Pete dye golf club, which is about 80 miles south of Pgh, a handful of times. Supposedly that's a really cool destination.

I refuse to believe there’s any meaningful viewership for this product.LIV will be on the CW this year
kind of a weird choice for the CW since I don’t think I’ve ever seen them broadcast sports before but it’s pretty smart. Will get a ton of eyes
You can’t impart meaning into a golf exhibition event. I don’t care to look it up, but I bet there’s a massive difference in revenue and ratings between a pga major and random golf tournament. So the attention a no-stakes golf tournament gets, then that’s probably the ceiling for the liv event. The pga should probably just ignore them as best they can because their main attention bubble is the conflict with the pga, so if the pga just treats them like the arena football league or the xfl, it will just eventually fizzle out.

MAGA Dad isn't interested in golf, even if daddy Trump wants him to be.

I think despite the competition itself being a joke, the names are big enough to draw attention
it’ll probably also do better viewer-wise in Europe and Australia (if I’m an Aussie I’m trying to spend as much time as possible watching Cam Smith)

Getting "attention" is such a low bar though.I think despite the competition itself being a joke, the names are big enough to draw attention

They need to make money with corporate sponsorships and broadcasting rights.

it’s chicken and egg. You get those things by getting attention

The LIV stuff is fascinating. If you look at the pro-LIV comments/replies on Twitter and go check the bios, probably a solid 70% of them are constantly retweeting the usual MAGA pundits repeatedly. The way that it has transformed into something that is distinctly Trumpian has been something to behold.

What these didn’t show - Kim flubbed the next shot and it rolled back into the bunker. Took him 3 to get out and he made 8. Then after the ball hit the rocks, he made the birdie putt. Routine 8-2 stretch.

That's wild.
I spent some time watching the Champions last night. I actually enjoy watching that coverage. A lot more laid back and hearing "Billy Ray" every other sentence is amusing.

The record for most eagles in a single Tour event? 5, going back to 1983, by six players. He only needs one on the weekend.Goodness. I saw he was -7 through 6 to start yesterday lol
I was surprised the number was that low but I guess it is hard to eagle a hole lol

National Press Club has no chill
“We are deeply disappointed that a company that makes money from news like Nexstar would agree to participate in such a shameful PR stunt as LIV Golf, which is fundamentally designed to rehabilitate the Saudi reputation, tarnished irreparably by the state-ordered gruesome murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in October 2018. We are left to wonder what if anything Nexstar stands for. You cannot have a brand in news and act this way. Saudi Arabia murdered a Washington Post journalist and cut him up with a bone saw.
“Riyadh wants to use golf to get Americans to forget about murder. We must not let them get away with it. We call on Nexstar employees — many of whom are journalists — to demand management explain why they have partnered with the murderers of a journalist. We urge Nexstar to do the right thing and cancel their bloody golf show. And if they don’t drop the program here is what we can do: don’t watch it; and write each sponsor asking them not to sponsor.”

If Rory said anything to him, Reed would have added him to the lawsuit.
