Hole-in-one videos are all over Youtube, no big deal. But there is something really cool about this stroke:

A little something the folks at El Camaleon GC in Mayakoba whipped up for today's holiday:

I got around Glengarry in 2:37 today. The only speedbump was when I caught a threesome on 12. When I came over the hill they were all three standing around under the trees without clubs in their hands so I just buzzed past them and came back and finished it at the end. Gorgeous day.

Chris Kirk, in the first group off 10, on his first shot of the day, dropped one in for an ace. Hell of a way to start the day.

I usually thank veterans for their service (and for the day off) by going for a hike, but if the high is going to be 60 degrees next Thursday, you can bet your ass that the marsupial will be golfing next Thursday.

If you (or anyone) wants to golf with a veteran send me a message. I'm going to Totteridge unless I find someone to play with. Though I think Totteridge really has beaten me for the year so I might drive up to Manor Valley and give that a try again, I've only been up there once.

It depends. Will you milk your veteran status for some perks at the course that the rest of us can enjoy? ;)

Hah. Totteridge supposedly has a veteran discount during the week, year-round. I always book online so I've never used it.

If you and I play we can get a sweet discount at Dennys or Applebees or wherever after the round. ;)

shaf says it won't. (So it will? Not sure how that works) I'm viewing Thursday as my last outdoor round of the year. Would be happy to be wrong, though.

Come on...no faith?

Weather pattern definitely looks chillier with a good number of disturbances (some just clouds, some precipitation) the second half of the month.

I'm also joining a second indoor golf league next week so I'm running out of days of the week.

How are things south of the border @Orlando Penguin

Did you create that #content?

I had nothing to do with that content. But it's nice that the Tour social media team is taking a page out of their Euro Tour counterparts. Hopefully we can see more of this stuff, especially when the Tour goes to Hawaii in January.

It's ok here. Big plus is that I'm in the resort next to the course so you can't beat that commute. However, I can't really take advantage of the place since daylight hours are spent working. But it doesn't hurt to have had this view this morning next to the 15th hole:

Beautiful day for golf. Had a really nice chip-in for par from 30 yards out on 8 at Glengarry with my 50 wedge. Easily my farthest hole out ever.
The rest of the round was average, at best.

And here I thought Brazzers already owned that trademark.

Took the day off yesterday and played at totteridge. Good chance that will be the last round of the year. Struggled off the tee and found myself in the fescue probably 5 times, but they had it cut way down for the winter so I found and played (well) 4 of those 5.

Took the 2 of us under 3 hours and it was $40. Amazing.

Oh... also closest I ever came to an ace on the last par 3. Landed a 9 iron about 6 feet left of the pin. Shot was fading slightly and it bounced directly toward the hole and rolled to a stop about 8" short.
