I'm as anti Bryson as anyone but I thought it was an exciting little moment. Again, just led to birdie though so it wasn't any groundbreaking thing. Just something fun to see especially with the fans back

Should be a fun Sunday. Lot of fun stories in play....I'm personally pulling for Westy or Spieth. Can't believe the former never won a major.

Whoa...Westwood has won only TWO PGA Tour events? Is that just from lack of playing/mostly being on the Euro tour?

he just hit another one over the lake today, this time with a ball speed of 196 mph. Just as I was pulling up a chart to convert ball speed to club speed, NBC posted a graphic saying his club speed was 135.8 mph.

They’re the thing that I have a chance at but end up three putting into a bogey

I know he’s sort of a villain but I don’t mind Bryson. The clip where he talked about what it meant to him receiving a letter from Arnold Palmer weeks before Palmer’s death was cute and humanizing

Most of that is due to playing the majority of the prime of his career in Europe. He'd only show up in the US for the bigger ticket events which would be won by the more established stars on the PGA Tour. The biggest reason why he never won a major was a bad putter. He was one shot out of the Tiger-Rocco playoff in 08 at Torrey and he had one of the worst showings on 18 on that Sunday. He also 3-jacked the last at Turnberry and missed out on the Watson-Cink playoff.

Was a bit of a disappointing Sunday. Even though Westy/Dechambeau were neck and neck down the stretch it never felt "close".

Anyone ever try www.spark.golf ?

Informal, during the week 9 hole weekly leagues. I have had a few folks here offer to play this year, which is great and I look forward to taking them up on it. But this might be fun, too. The two closest to me are Glengarry and Mt. Odin. Both are Thursday nights.

Weird scoring format. Pair up with a friend or be paired up by the organizer.

The PGA Tour announced on Tuesday that it would set up internal out-of-bounds at TPC Sawgrass, preventing Bryson DeChambeau from taking a potential alternate route — as laid out below — to the challenging 18th hole at the Players.

One on hand, lame. On the other hand, Bryson is slow enough without having to walk around a lake to get to his ball 4 times this week

I spent about 90 minutes of my life bouncing between that spot and the tee shooting video of it yesterday and the different perspectives and then getting yardages for carry and what it would then be to the green. Today, it was find the white stakes (I believe they are the only white stakes on the Stadium course) and get video of those. This is the right move. Play the hole as it was designed.

However, it is a very doable move. Only issue would be that he’d likely have a sloped lie/stance for that 2nd shot which would be all carry to the green.
