Leaderboard is getting pretty pretty good...
except for whatever a "Will Zalatoris" is...
http://www.owgr.com/en/Ranking/PlayerPr ... erID=19428

Check out where he was when golf restarted last June. Young kid out of Wake Forest who is a pretty good ballstriker. If you play the DFS games, he’s a good one to have in your lineup each week.

Dechambeau has impressively clawed himself back into contention.

This should be a good weekend. There isn't really anyone I dislike towards the top of the leaderboard. Spieth or JT would be nice. Pulling for Finau.. Even Rose would be a good one.

I always root for the no name guy's on the weekend. Love it when a Mike Weir-type wins.

Si Woo Kim pounded his putter on the ground at 15 and snapped it. Putted final 4 holes with a 3 wood. We can relate.

Ask that dope about when Tiger kicked his club a number of years ago when he missed a tee shot. Or any of the guys that whip their ball into the water or woods after a bad hole.

I don't remember who it was but I saw a guy miss a gimme putt to bogey 16 at Quail Hollow and he screamed M'Fer and threw his ball in the lake.

Matt Wolff DQ'ed for marking his score on Hole 17 lower than what he actually scored.

Matt Wolff DQ'ed for marking his score on Hole 17 lower than what he actually scored.
I heard a theory yesterday that he deliberately did it because he was 11 over already and his score would be "stricken" if he was DQed. Didn't make sense to me but I'll let someone more knowledgeable respond.

That said, I've always thought Wolff was kind of a turd.

https://www.golfchannel.com/news/isolat ... and-psyche

This article will shed a bit of light on Wolff’s current issues. The reality is that he got too good too quickly and hasn’t been able to handle the limelight like Morikawa and Hovland has. He was spotted walking off the range yesterday with his swing coach and he was visibly depressed (shoulders slumped, coach’s arm around him). In some ways, the worst thing for him was winning the NCAA championship and then the 3M in his 3rd or 4th pro start. Now he’s in a spot where he has imploded since contending at US Open and nearly winning in Vegas. This is a guy who gave up on free money by WD’ing from a no-cut event after one round and who likely wouldn’t have played in Match Play or the Masters if they weren’t guaranteed money or a major. If he did sign for the wrong score to expunge his record, I give him a little credit for thinking of that option. But he’s in a bad place now and he could easily flame out.

Phil with the best score to par of the day so far... Wish he would have put a couple other good rounds together.

Picked up the Paramount+ early trial to watch the early coverage and have enjoyed the "Follow the group" option. Just watched Phil and his group. Was good times.

Does it really count to name Horton Smith, who won the first ever Masters, as one of the people who "picked up a victory in their first Masters appearance" when talking about Zalatoris?

Justin Rose birdies the first two holes, three shot lead. He played really well from out in front when he won at Merion... Didn't he go wire to wire then?
