I’m curious what the context of “beating him up” is. I was rooting for Louis in every tourney last year (which was backed up by my bets on him)

My wife and I were going to go to the US Senior Open tomorrow up in the Lehigh Valley, but the forecast is pretty dank. May just go see Maverick instead.

I need to read that when I have time. Also if LIV paid AK I might tune in. He was awesome

Looks like that was out of the sand. Perhaps he caught it thin?

First sub 80 of the season, 78 at South Park.
67% GIR and an eagle on the short par 5 10 (close to an albatross as it rolled right past the hole). Only one tee shot in bad position and the putter was working fine. Was -1 after the eagle and almost tossed the round away because I forget how to hit 50-60 yard shots and butchered two approach shots in that range leading to +3 on two holes that should have been easy pars. Think I’ll do my best to avoid that distance till I figure that out. Guy I was playing with said I was way too much arm with my swing on those pitches, so I really hope that’s all it is.

On those 50 to 60 yard pitches, I basically lock everything (wrists especially) and do a big scoop with my pitching wedge (or sand wedge depending on what's between me and the flag). That has made my pitching game much better.

I first had about 45 yards up a hill for my 3rd on a par 5, fatted a 54, caught the hill and rolled back down. So had a full 56 and got up and down. Then, on a 330 par 4, hit a draw on the line with the dogleg and had 50 yards in, tried a half swing 56, straight off the hozzle. Last time, nuked another drive to 60 yards in, tried to run a 50 degree. Again off the hozzle. On those 50 to 60 yard pitches, I basically lock everything (wrists especially) and do a big scoop with my pitching wedge (or sand wedge depending on what's between me and the flag). I think on thing I am doing, instead of extending the chip shot swing, i am just swinging faster to try any get the right distance. That is obviously not how to play golf. Not sure i know what a scoop actually means.

Lol, that probably wasn't the best descriptor. I was having issues at that distance and this helped
