as you watch the Tour Championship and hear announcers and players complaining about the heat just remember that next year will be even worse. highs in the 90's are a little unusual here for late September but now that they've moved this tourney to late August it will be this bad and probably worse next year.
I was thinking about that when watching the run-up coverage the other day. Late August in Atlanta...dear lord.

so DJ and paulina are on the fritz?
Apparently:

TBH, with DJ's substance abuse and personal issues, the last person he needs to be dating is Paulina Gretzky.

I didn't even realize that they hadn't gotten married yet. no engagement needs to be 5 years long. piss or get off the pot. :pop:

Furyk has to be regretting his pick for the Ryder Cup. Wonder if Phil gets "sick" this weekend and Xander Schaufle heads to France next week.

@iamjs , I'd guess it's tendinitis. I had a similar feeling in my wrist a couple of years and that was the diagnosis. Your issue could also be from making impact with the ground so much. If you practice and/or play often or you play on firmer grounds, it can send little shockwaves of pain to the elbow.
That definitely happened earlier in the year, probably more times than I would like to admit. I'm sure the wear and tear of swinging for the hills hasn't helped either.
if it's tendinitis ask the doctor about dry needling. I had some bad tennis elbow a few years ago. I had been going to PT and it was slowly getting better. one day I show up to PT and my regular therapist was out. the fill-in therapist said she was certified in dry needling and did I want to try it? I said sure. 20 minutes later I walked out pain-free and haven't had any issues since.
some people think it's voodoo but it worked for me.

I hate needles, but for some reason I wouldn't be opposed to trying this.

you barely even notice them. they're basically acupuncture needles. so small you barely feel them and believe me, you won't realize just how annoying the pain is until it's gone.

My wife is a huge proponent of Dry Needling. It's permissible in Wisconsin (and Ohio) but not here in Pennsylvania. At least not by PTs.

Doing TopGolf for the first time on Sunday. Should be a good time; I look forward to being sore on Monday as I've played exactly one round of golf in the last three years. About to find some muscles I haven't used in a while.

Weather should be good; little cold maybe.

So the compression sleeve seemed ok. Supposed to do 9 on Sunday, so I'll see how it works in a real setting.

They're supposed to have heated bays that keep the area around 60 degrees.

My lips are sealed. I'll actually miss the entire final round (****) because I'll be at a concert so you're welcome.

Honestly, I don't really care. I'm getting on a flight to Paris tonight and whatever happens this weekend will be the furthest thing from my mind. Since I'm not working tomorrow, TW can go ahead and win because it won't affect me. That said, you'd be crazy not to pick him because this is the week that everything is on the same page in his game. He makes that double yesterday and he comes right back and finishes with a birdie that wasn't far from being another eagle. So, like in the past, someone is gonna have to come get him because he likely won't come back to the field. Fowler shrunk from the spotlight yesterday when playing with him, let's see how Rose handles it. For all the yapping about today's player not being afraid of him, well, they also haven't had to deal with him at a high level of play. Let's see someone step up this weekend and take him down.

This weekend will be fun. I have my 8:48 tee time tomorrow so I'll be home just in time for the good stuff. Pretty pumped to finally be home for an entire weekend and do nothing but watch CFB and the tour championship

If I was a betting man, I'd bet on Rose. He's been playing great and I find it hard to bet on Big Cat til he actually wins one. That said, I said the same thing about the Browns being favored Thursday night

TopGolf was fun. Would do again. Should have brought my own clubs, my mistake. The only club of theirs I could hit reliably was the stiff 4 iron so I just fell in and cleaned up by hitting it into the second farthest target over and over.
