NASCAR, Indycar, Mexico World Rally all still going forward this weekend. After that it’ll be sports movies galore.
Can you imagine quarantined and not having any sports left to watch? Or news to follow?

Fun while it lasted. I’m sure the Tour was getting some big PR blowback about not shutting down. I guess I’ll work on my game, read a few books, make my weight goals, and binge Ozark’s new season when it drops.

Listening to the Kornheiser podcast today was kind of surreal. He was openly questioning how many times they can run Coronavirus updates on ESPN before they just have to give up. He figured two or three days. I suppose they can just run feature stories about Lebron and Brady ad naueseum.

I guess at some point NFL free agency should start up as usual.

Could they just stream the normal camera angles of Amen Corner and the green at the 13th, etc...

Wonder how CBS would pull that one off with NFL on Sunday. Guess you don't go live until after 1:00 game ends.

Oh man.... That would be nice. Just put the ear buds in and listen to the birds chirping. Yes please.

Well at least the golf courses are still open. My friend and I got stuck behind a 4-ball that while kept to the prescribed pace of play, did so in infuriating fashion. At one point, we came up on them on the tee and I braked hard and screeched the brakes. I think they got the message after that.

Not in PA. Not to worry, my club still expects our dues because it's their "only source of revenue during this time and they have their own financial obligations to meet"

The Masters, which announced its postponement last week, could potentially take place in October. As of now, the other two majors remain scheduled on their original dates: the U.S. Open at Winged Foot (June 18-21) and the Open Championship at Royal St. George’s (July 16-19).

That might change in response to the global emergency, said Craig Annis, chief brand officer of the USGA. “Based on shifting dynamics, postponing is a possibility that we are grappling with, but our goal is to keep our slot and play at Winged Foot,” he said.

Winged Foot is in Westchester County, New York, a hot spot for coronavirus outbreaks. One person with knowledge of the situation who was not authorized to speak publicly on the matter says two possible venues are being internally discussed as alternatives: Oakmont Country Club and Pinehurst No. 2.
