Wait where does Schenley have a Trackman?

And dodint, that swing looks good. A lot quieter in the lower body.
Schenley is now more of a training academy thing than a golf course, just constantly running clinics with kids. And they finally finished the clubhouse building, where they have two trackman simulators and a big putting artificial putting surface.

I forgot the clubhouse was under construction the last time we went. Sounds like it should be nice.

For the driver specifically, maybe start with some weight loaded on to your back foot. I assume that front foot lift is you moving weight on to the back foot. Also that back swing looks too long, probably don't want the shaft getting below parallel to the ground on the back. Especially cause the takeaway looks real good.

Yeah. I don't like seeing the clubhead out of my left eye if I can help it. I feel like it'll wiggle around and I'll come back over the top. But then my tempo gets wonky if I fight it.

Funny thing is I have an abbreviated version of that swing, a 'Rahm' version. It's only 3mph slower. *shrug*

for about 15 or so years I would always lift my front heel. It was a holdover from baseball. I think the common belief is that lifting the heel can help you produce more power (which is why some pros like Bryson do it) but it can also lead to stability issues and inconsistent shots

Would love to see either Z or Jason Day win today. So it will probably be Rahm.

Zalatoris should have just hit a 3 wood and taken the bunker out of play

Hope that doesn't scar Will. His putting is sub Korn Ferry level at this point. His caddie seems like a competent fellow, don't know who his coach is but I'm sure he has many days on the greens ahead.

Putting on poa can be pretty potluck, especially late in the day. How hard do you hit it so it doesn't get rocked off line yet doesn't race past the hole? Z got the case of the nerves on that final putt in regulation and it slipped off to the side with that little poa bud rocking it to the left. An ounce more of speed and he wins. As for List, he entered the week 208th in putting this season on Tour. 208th!!! That's out of 215 players with more than one round on Tour this season. But this week, he was 8th in the field. That putt he made on 18 in regulation was so clutch because of the touch involved on that downhill putt and I bet if he has that same putt an hour later, it bounces just enough off line. The shot he hit in the playoff was even more outstanding because of how dark it was. The cameras made it seem like there was still a decent amount of light but no, there was hardly any left. I was 20 yards to the left of 18 green in the playoff and couldn't see the hole on Z's putt to tie in OT.

Aw man... Blandy came oh so close to getting his second career Tour win, which would have both been at age 48. Lost in a playoff to Hovland.

See what the ratings say but I think, like Phoenix’s 16th hole, they like it as an occasional one-off. Tournaments are going to want both weekend days for the gate and other than Phoenix, you’re always going to have a better Sunday crowd than a Wednesday crowd. I would have especially loved it had I been able to jump on the redeye last nite and be home to watch football today but I’m also covering the APGA action at Torrey.
