Dechambeau outdrove Langer by almost 90 yards on average in Round 1. One made the cut, and it wasn't Dechambeau.

Lol

They found Bryson's ball shortly after he headed back to the tee...

Phil and Tiger have both played much better than I expected, Phil especially. Too many horses in front of them to have a big chance this weekend, but nice to see.

At this point, JT/DJ or bust.

Depends how this morning goes. If Tiger can get a couple birdies to get to -6 he's got a shot imo

Also if Rahm gets in the house at -9 we'll have the top 3 in the world tied for 1st

Also Louis Oosthouizen is the best.

He looks like your average duffer out there. :)

I don’t know but his shirt yesterday and Finau’s shirt today are pretty much the same thing and both awful

He's gonna bring the even par group into the cut line so we'll need a birdie or two from them to take him back out

Can we be done with Rickie please?

I don’t want to hear about him anymore. He’s worse than Sergio before Sergio won the Masters. He’s a nuisance at this point

Not to defend him much but Rickie has been undergoing a swing change throughout this year. It shows glimmers of hope only to dip away. But that’s been Rickie’s career it seems - a ton of promise with rather average results. Part of that is our (the media’s) fault because we seem to want him to win. 2014 was his high water mark and if he was ever gonna win a major, that was the year for him. Now, he seems like golf’s version of Anna Kournikova - popping up in every marketing item possible but with little to show for it on the course.

As for today, DJ just has to keep it on the rails and he’ll need a new hanger in his closet. Even par means someone has to shoot 67 to beat him. Those someones have 2 combined PGA Tour wins. JT is the biggest name threat and he needs to shoot 65 to beat an average DJ. Now, DJ is 0 for 4 when leading a major after 54 holes and he has some spectacular major flameouts. But this is a par 67 course for him (haha, Bryson) and his easy demeanor should mean zero worries. Should.

One last thing - the way Rahm played #8 looked exactly like how I might have played it.

DJ seemed destined to become the new Phil (always the groomsman, never the groom), it's been impressive to see how he has put his game together to become dominant. He's in a totally different space mentally than he was five years ago.

Lead down to 1 thru 5 holes. DJ’s final round ghosts are back.

Meanwhile, CBS mangling this broadcast in a similar fashion.
