Yeah. I'm in a weird place with him. I root for him but really hate watching him play. That half an hour pre-shot waggle is obnoxious.

If he wasn't so uppity about it it'd be fun. I'm growing to dislike him less. He's just a tool sometimes. It didn't help that he did it right when he was getting all the sht for his slow play either

It is easy to resent him because he is a tool. And he is doing it the “wrong way” and it is working. I mean, just look at him in that video; he just looks and swings like a jagoff Neanderthal. The worst part about it is that he plays like a jagoff and it works. I think that is where a lot of the resentment comes from.

I honestly don’t mind Bryson. He’s an dadhole but it’s almost endearing imo

I think him being the “mad scientist” is fun and good for the game

I guess one reason it doesn't bother me is because it's not sustainable over any significant period. Tiger tried it and his body fell apart.

His swing does look like he’s gonna tear his shoulder in a couple of years

I hope he tears his rectum.
Age is not going to be kind to him. You think Tiger Woods aged from 30 to 40...yikes.

I think this weekend is going to be a Viktor Hovland breakout party. He's 44:1 on betting sites. I like him as a mid-odds bet. Also JT is my favorite pick

As well as Spieth is playing, there's no way I would take him over JT at +1100. If I was going to take someone at +2000 or lower, I would take Cantlay.

That’s my stance. In a sport that is dominated by wealth, he stands out as the biggest frat boy ****** in the entire operation and it’s not even close. Even his “mad scientist” schtick, which is something I would usually find interesting, is perpetuated by an arrogance of being smarter than everyone else.

I can’t trust Spieth until I see him do it on the big stage, ESPECIALLY at Augusta

the last thing I’d want to see as a bettor is Spieth seeing demons on number 12

And it’s not like JT has been a bum in 2021

Oh, Patty will be there now that she's a major champion and has exemptions for days. This humble writer is also scheduled to be there so don't get in the way of my cart!
I'll be sure to wear my Pens cap when we go so that you will spare my life. :scared:

How deflating this must be to read for the 2000s grinders that were just trying to win a tournament. Tiger racks up 82 wins and only gives af about 15 of them

Aside from the meals before an obvious budget increase in the early 2000s, Bubba is just the worst. Thanks for the budget wedding dinner buffet you dingus.

Nice of the author to include parentheticals so the lily-white audience can understand those extreme ethnic offerings.

Wiener schnitzel (breaded veal)
Paella (Spanish rice dish)
Arctic char (fish)

Not just that but he just copy-pasted the same meal two years later

“Bubba Watson, 2015: Same menu as 2013.”

I hate Bubba now
