Maybe they'll have a chance to run the segments again tomorrow.

Ehhhh. Pulling driving irons while Scheffler beats him to death with driver is more tail tuck behavior than being baller to me.

I love rooting for Scottie. He's in a tight rotation for best player in the world and gets no credit.

I'm surprised you don't like him. He's basically you but with much more golf talent.

I it feels like, aside from that first one, scheffler wins have been lacking drama. Like, this one today and the master were decided well before the last hole.

As spectators, I think we’re mostly rooting for an interesting ending

Oh no, I really like him. And I'm way more high strung than he is. Just want a little more drama.

That's the part that bugs me. When Tiger would win by a wide margin everyone was tonguing his balls. Scottie? It's a nusiancento the game.

Maybe if Scottie walked around with a permanent scowl and fist-pumped every putt over 10 feet he could get some of that PIP money.

Tiger had the greatest stretch run in golf history. When he did it it was historical. When someone else does it today it's not really part of anything bigger. I like Scottie but he's not even #1 in the world right now so it is just wasted time

I don't see much difference between Rahm and Scheffler. They're both playing at an unreal level and are generally quiet, introvert-leaning personalities. Rahm can have outbursts of frustration but by and large, he plays within himself. He also has my favorite swing on tour. Two great guys I enjoy rooting for every week they're in the field.

lol when I googled “world golf rankings” the cached result still had Rahm as #1 but if I scrolled down just a little I would’ve saw that they had been changed

my point still stands though. Blowouts in any sport are boring unless they’re part of an alltime great run. Scheffler is playing amazing golf but comparing it to Tiger is like comparing Kawhi Leonard to Michael Jordan. Not even remotely close

I love Scheffler if for no other reason than he is 100% still a normal dude. I think Rahm is the same way...very rich normal dudes, but normal nevertheless.

On an unrelated note, this LIV stuff is going to get fun

https://apnews.com/article/saudi-arabia ... fd98b18a84
U.S. District Judge Beth Labson Freeman found that the Saudis had smacked up against a commercial exception to U.S. laws on sovereign immunity.

Yasir al Rumayyan, appointed under Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to manage the oil-rich Saudi government’s $600 billion-plus stockpile of wealth, is “up to his eyeballs” in managing the golf tour, Labson Freeman declared.

The finding follows PGA Tour claims that al Rumayyan himself recruited LIV players, approved LIV contracts and was otherwise the golf league’s decision-maker and manager. Lawyers for Saudi Arabia counter that Rumayyan’s actions were those of an eager investor, not of someone actually running a business.
Makes you wonder if they end up deciding that folding up is better than being deposed.

When Scheffler starts raking up multiple majors then I think the "excitement" will come.

The thing about enjoying Tiger blowouts was that he was chasing history.

Dunno, kind of seems like you can recognize how another 2022-23 ho hum win for Scheffler is going to make for less intriguing viewing.
