That's basically what DJ said. Odd coincidence that he kept it simple, was honest, and the media hasn't given him trouble.

Yeah DJs line when they asked what he's gonna do for the 40 weeks of the year without a LIV/Major tournament was "whatever the hell I want." Touche

2024 LIV goes to 14 mandatory tournaments, so it’s really not that much less work when guys like DJ and Koepka barely played on the PGA Tour as it was.

He was owning it at the press conference. I think he’s the only LIV defector that I actually like besides Phil. I like that shirt. The sunglasses on the $100s make it.

Pat Perez on his decision to join LIV: "It's simple. I'm 46. I've been on the road since 1998 ... It's like winning the lottery for me. I couldn't be more excited."

Understandable.

I see that LIV managed to put a leaderboard on their site for this tournament. Top 10 at least. And not an actual, functioning leaderboard. Just a Top 10 graphic after the first round. Good showings though by what I assume is Alabama and Syracuse.

I’m curious, do y’all have any particular drills you do when you get to the range before a round?

I don’t really. Even if I do get there with enough time to warm up, I just hit some at the range and then putt some. I don’t work on anything in particular but I’m wondering if I should

I hit 10-12 picture perfect shots each with a wedge, 7i, 7w, and driver. Then I go to the first tee and blast a drive into the woods.

Every time.
