Maybe they're just easier courses that don't have all that much rough. Here are the yardages for the courses they've played for 2020's events:

Hualalai -- 7107
Morocco -- 7309
Chubb (giggity) -- 6845
Cologuard (shitbag open) -- 7218
Hoag --6606
Ally -- 7085
Sr. Players --7400
Bass Pro --7036
This week -- 7036

The only outlier thus far was Sr. Players, which was played at Firestone and was just as difficult for the Seniors as it was for the regular Tour players. Firestone had the rough grown up and there were only 3 players, I believe, that were under par.
Laughing at the name, but why is the Cologard the shitbag open?

Because Cologuard is literally a shitbag. Take a dump in a bag, mail it off to get analyzed for colon cancer.

I had a dream that the US Open was at Pebble and I was there again and DJ was pulling away with the lead

I’m not sure if this is a sign or if I’m just an idiot

Got it.

I figured it was an inside joke, considering that Chubb (giggity) was listed above it.

For those of you just checking the scores from first round action today, no, the US Open isn't for another 3 weeks. Olympia Fields was a brute today -- 5-inch rough in some places, fast, hard greens, and a strong wind sent scores soaring into the black on Thursday. Only three players shot under par and it was definitely a preview of Winged Foot out there. Rains are expected either overnight or in the morning to soften things up a little bit but that won't make the rough any shorter.

It's nice to see the players get their ass kicked after last week.

Try to start better than @iamjs did a couple weeks ago.

Does this mean that you had to give up your primo parking space?

I never had one, such a shame. I started off well and took a 9 on #8, par 3. That was fun. Turned it around and shot 39 on the back so I'm at net 76 going into tomorrow. I was first off so I only saw how a few groups did and the scores weren't pretty. We got so much rain yesterday and overnight

This is the hole. 200 yards and the pin was tucked all the way back a few yards off the waters edge. So you can imagine. Teeing off from the top right-ish of the image

There’s a special spot in hell reserved for people who design 200 yard par 3s.

Current plan is to play Harbour Town with my uncle some point this week.

To say I'm excited at the possibility is an understatement.

I played Atlantic Dunes down there earlier in the summer and absolutely loved it, if you have the time.

I've gone to the top of the lighthouse there, never played. Love the view looking back the 18th
