we used to have a par 3, 18 hole lighted course here. of course that's gone now to make way for $500k townhomes.....
the only bad part was that there was a cow pasture next door. enjoy the smell of cow crap hipsters!

I like sunrise rounds. I can never find my ball in the evening light. Even if its in the fairway.

Evening rounds are the best. I just get depressed here pretty soon when my evening 18 that I can get in at 6 turns into an evening 9, and eventually it's dark at 6. But until then..
At a previous job, we had a 9-hole fun league at one of the various courses in our area and on two occasions, I shot under par on those 9 holes and I was cursing everything because it was too dark to continue. Up to that point, I had never broken 80 and I knew on both those nights, that it was practically a guarantee. So, no more twilight rounds for me because of that possibility of losing out on a great round because of darkness.

I need to ask him if Charlie gave him 10% after that victory.

Such a dolt. He wasn't a superstar but his aw shucks act and steady play did make it pretty hard to dislike the guy. Then the caddy thing, and right after that he pulls that match play stunt with Sergio. I forget the details but it was bad optics for a guy who was already falling out of favor

Ah wait I looked it up and remember now. It was Sergio that was being the dummy. Didn't feel bad for him either

Bought a 4 wood off of rock bottom golf. not sure if this is a good or bad idea. I don't have a 3 or 5 wood (just a 3 hybrid and 7 wood) so I figured why the f not

His scores. 21 strokes over three holes. At least +8
Yep, +8.

The other was a double, triple, and a quad.
So what club did you hit the 3rd time off the tee on #12?
3 hybrid, about 200 yards out but slightly left of the fairway.

I should have played it safe and did this after the first OB.

A 7 wood? What are the senior discounts like at the courses you play?

Sergio was always transparent about his twatiness. Kuchar hid his behind a southern accent and an awe shucks demeanor.

Sometimes (like 3 times a year) you are standing on the tee or in the fairway on a perfect lie and are just like "what I need right now is a shot that will go like 165 to 175 yards and be really, really unnecessarily high"
