That par save by Koepka.... Holy SHT. The absolute best of the tournament. And he bookends it with two birdies. Look out field.

I guess koepka winning would be our penance for the bruins and GSW losing

Holy **** I lucked out

When you’re in the grandstands you can ask for a ticket to save your spot if you have to go to the bathroom or get food. I left the grandstands at 7 after Koepka played it and went to 18 but the line to get in the 18 grandstands was ridiculous. Thankfully I had a left over ticket for grandstand 7 and the Marshall in control didn’t bother to look at it and I got in

tl;dr - I have a great seat in the grandstand at 18 and hopefully Orlando Penguin doesn’t rat me out :slug:

Chez Reavie was even today and tied for third in the tournament and I think they showed 2 of his shots today.

AS I commented to my dad when they showed reavie late I. The round......”oh, I forgot. I thought Koepka was playing by himself.”

I think Fox usually does a good job of showing a lot of shots but just omitting Reavie until he got to 15 or so was strange. It's not like he shot 7 over or something

Yeah, they should have ignored Rose :D

That was a fun US Open. I know Rory and Jordan have shown flashes, but Koepka has staying power.

Wish I had seen this sooner but I was walking approx 1200 yards up and down 18 with a tripod over my shoulder trying not to high stick people.

That was an amazing shot on 17 and sweet close out in 18. Genuinely happy for this dude and now I can say I did a tequila shot with a US Open champion.

Woodland was stone cold on that last putt. He put his arm up and the crowd frenzied, including me

And yeah, people were yelling **** right before players were about to hit. This one dude kept yelling “rock chalk jayhawk” as Woodland was lining up his last putt

@MrKennethTKangaroo how far did #17 at Pebble play when you were there? And what'd you do on it and #8?

Between those two, #7 and #18 Pebble has some iconic holes. Wish it would have played a little harder this weekend but that place always has me in awe a little bit

i played from the whites or the equivalent of the whites. #17 was like 170 to 180 ish. iirc, it is kind of down hill but it is tough because there is a lot of bad news up front, no amateur ever wants to go long on any hole, and the green is so narrow.

i was a bogey golfer when i played pebble. i doubled #17 and bogeyed #8. 8 is weird because it plays very differently in real life than it does on TV and video games and such because everything is blind. all in all i played like crap there and hit very few good shots. that being said, my sand game went through a tyler glasnow esque transformation after i played there. those bunkers are obviously deep mofos and i spent a lot of time in them. i came about 2 inches from a birdie on #16 from a bunker on the right side of the green. coolest sand shot ive ever hit. my game stinks right now (probably in the mid 90s due to a lack of playing time), but I play more like a 12 or 13 handicap out of the sand.

Sweet. 2nd shot at 8 is blind too? That kinds stinks.. 17 just seems like a ridiculously hard hole for the average golfer if that pin's on the left unless it plays under 150. Getting anything over a 6 iron over that bunker and stopping on the green is quite a shot
