I know he’s the best in the world right now, so who tf am I to comment on his swing, but Scottie’s feet through his swing drive me nuts. Just moving all the time and all over the place.
I appreciate it because it’s so unique

I’m kind of amazed that at some point a swing coach and he agreed that that was a good thing to build into his swing. If any amateur tried it they’d shank the **** out of it

Zach Johnson has gotten exponentially more sassy this year.

Just an outrageous explanation lol. I also enjoyed him acting like he didn't know what shot the reporter was talking about.

I know he’s the best in the world right now, so who tf am I to comment on his swing, but Scottie’s feet through his swing drive me nuts. Just moving all the time and all over the place.
The Athletic did a little feature on Scottie's footwork. Here's some excerpts from his coach Randy Smith:
“I teach based on what the person can do, not what I think it should look like,” Smith says.

Scheffler’s footwork isn’t a new element in his swing. He’s been moving his feet like that since he was a teenager. When Scheffler was in high school, his right foot started its signature slide in his downswing — before even striking the ball.

“Scottie’s foot used to release a lot earlier,” says Troy Van Biezen, Scheffler’s performance coach. “Now, when he’s playing well, his foot slides after the ball is struck, post-impact.”

Scheffler’s move morphed over the years. A rapid growth spurt, one that brought him from 5-foot-6 to 6-3, forced him to re-acclimate to a taller, lankier body and naturally, his swing evolved with it. It took several years for Scheffler to iron out the kinks and pains that came with puberty. He battled back issues and his scores ballooned. But his team encouraged him to be patient. Scheffler might have been momentarily tempted, but Smith never allowed him to remove those unique fundamentals in his golf swing to fit an aesthetic mold.

“I wholeheartedly believe that if any other golf coach got a hold of Scottie, they would have tried to change his swing and probably would have ruined him,” says Van Biezen. “A lot of golf coaches out there want to put their trademark on a golf swing. Randy has never been that way.”

I mean, obviously it works, right? It’s like Furyk’s swing. I see it and go “eww…” but if it works, it works.

Source of the post For the masters I picked Rory, Hovland, JT, Spieth, and Finau.
So far alright except for Jordan...
lol. JT, Hovland, and speith all missing the cut. Not sure I could have picked a worse group on purpose.

Too bad Bryson is up there or else LIV would have really flopped across the board.

Bryson will choke. It'll be more fun to watch him fall from that height.

Pulling for Max... I think the only chance the field has is if Scottie's wife goes into labor tonight

Nick Taylor might be my worst pool pick ever.

How about 61 year old Vijay and 58 year old Olazabal making the cut?

Also, what a disaster for JT. He was even par on 15 tee, and proceeded to go double-double-bogey-double and miss the cut by one.

Tbh if Tiger didn't botch the par 5s he'd be in the thick of it again
Tee to green seems fine. Just lots of dumb bogies.
