That happened earlier this year, too. The Trackman stickers, probably.
Woof, I was wrong:

That's kind of inexplicable. Supposedly you can paint the grooves but not the plane of the face. This is just sloppy.

Yeah. The golfers journal I subscribe to is having an event there and my brother and I got a spot. Looking forward to it, just underwent some renovations too

Really good track. Will be fun to see what they did to it with the renovations. US Women's Open is back there in 2024.

Nice! I'm actually thinking about inquiring about membership costs. It's about 25 minutes from my house.

I like him. I very much enjoy his enthusiasm for self-deprecating anger.

I was clearly being facetious, but yeah, I was definitely surprised when I found out how many people loathe him. His highlight reel of things he says to himself is hilarious. And I've always heard he is a nice guy.

He is just the right amount. Hatton, for instance, is more of a pissbaby.

shot an 85 today and my handicap is down to a 14.1. That’s pretty cool. I have a consistent enough game but I know there’s a lot of improvement for me yet to go. It’s nearly impossible for me to hit a hook so I know nearly exactly where to aim (25% of my shots are straight, 25% are a slice and 50% are a nice fade) but man I lose so much distance because of the spin

First outing of the year yesterday. It was our company golf outing. I was put in a group with a half retired engineer, his older brother, and a guy from the manufacturing floor. Luckily, the half retired engineer and especially his older brother were playing from the senior tees. On some of the par 5s that was a 130ish yard advantage. So even with his 200 yard straight down the middle drive, it's perfect.

My first 6 or so holes, I was absolute dogsh*t. I couldn't hit anything. Literally every shot was a duff and every drive was a snap hook. Once I got loosened up and remembered how to golf, it was game on.

We finished with 7 birdies and a bogey (from the first 6 holes where I was sucking). It was good enough to tie for 2nd and we had the tiebreaker, so I got a free round for placing 2nd. Also, I won a closest to the pin with a shot on a 160 yard par 3 that I hit it 2 feet 7 inches from the hole. It was one of the best shots of my life.

Anyways, good to get back on the course. I need to do it again soon.

This place is **** sweet. Finished the morning round and going out for the afternoon skins game. I'll try and get some pics since we're riding and had a caddie in the am

Had no idea Bryson was playing this week until he showed up on the screen at +9. The only swing I've seen him take, he hit a guy.
Yea well he shouldn't have been standing there.

Phil to Saudi Arabia Golf League. They must have paid off his gambling debts. No official announcement yet, but rumor is that Rickie, who’s well on his way to the Korn Ferry, is making the jump as well.

So DJ, Sergio, Oosthuizen, Charl Schwartzel and Branden Grace all resign from the PGA Tour. They seem to be making this easy on the tour. No need to suspend guys who are no longer members.
