It's worse. We know what it's like to have a winning team. With the Browns and Lions, you can't really miss what you never had.

There was a stat I saw last year....... since rejoining the League in 1999 or whatever, the Browns have never finished higher than 3rd in the AFCN, while each of the other three teams have finished in 1st place multiple times. We all know that until a year or so ago the winningest QB in their stadium was a visiting team QB who played one game a year there. And then when they finally got a winning QB they promptly s**t all over him and chucked him out of town in favor of Captain Rub-n-Tug.

The Lions strike me as sad saps, lovable chumps who can't catch a break. But for a few very high profile bouts of a-holishness, they are a team that I will cheer for if/when they ever do climb the mountaintop. But the Browns.... the Browns are belligerently sh**ty.

The Lions are a bit less than lovable chumps who can't catch a break in reference to their footballing acumen. Sure, they don't employ douchebags and therefore will gain my rooting interest, but as far as being a good football team, they are below the Browns.

Have the Steelers cut Gunner Olszewski yet?

Former Patriot fails to notice there are only 10 Steeler players on the field despite it being his job to count them, then muffs the punt right into the arms of the only player within 30 yards of him. The sun was to his back so it's not like he lost it in the glare.

**** that guy.

I have to imagine that midseason firings of coordinators are extremely rare. In the Steelers case, I just don't see that sort of change happening midseason. This is the reaction after two games. It's going to be a long season.

I'm of the opinion that this is not a reaction after two games. The thought was, "well we'll deal with this because Ben sucks, surely the play calling will be better."

Then it turned out it wasn't, and again, the Steelers just HAVE to prove they're the smart ones so they'll run this ship into land.

I am hoping if the QB, WRs, RB, and the national media are saying the play calling is a problem, maybe they will use the 10 days after the Browns game to scheme some new play calling.

Please.

Right. Even if they canned Canada and Tomlin took over, how's he going to implement an entirely new playbook mid-season? Even if it was another coordinator, having the players change mid stream is kinda tough.

Tomlin hasn't coached an offense since Arkansas State in 1998. Dude ain't taking over OC. Maybe they could promote Mike Sullivan. At least he has OC experience.

After seeing play after play where Mitch is checking down and ignoring wide open (by NFL standards) throws 12-15 yds downfield, I can't Blame Canada (exclusively). Those second-level hits will do wonders to free up the running game. Right now, oppo LBs don't seem to be scared of rainbows dropping down over their heads. That doesn't seem like a play calling issue.

That seems like an excessively large logo.

Also they should bring in JPP to fill in for Watt on the edge.
I'd be in for that but I think I read he isn't healthy? Maybe we can get someone for cheap like when we dumped Melvin Ingram to KC
He signed with the Ravens so we will get to see if he is healthy.

I was able to start the pregame late, and rewind/fwd it. The game might be different.

When 90% of completions to receivers are along the boundary and the trajectory of the throw takes receivers either to ground or out of bounds, there isn't going to be much opportunity for YACing your way down the field.
