this makes me think - what is the Steelers biggest need? If they re-sign Sutton and Ogunjobi, I might actually say WR. The line was cheeks in 2021 and weeks 1-6 this year, and I'd pull the trigger if a stud LT was there, but it's not at the top of my list right now
I think if Broderick Jones is there at 17 you have to take him

I'm really starting to like having pick 2.1 as well. It gives the Steelers a day to reanalyze who's left and also other teams time to salivate and offer too much in a trade.

I like what I see there but I read he might end up at G in the NFL

Twitter says that dionte no longer follows the stillers on Twitter and removed all mentions of the team on his bio.

Well. Bye. I had more heartburn losing JuJu than I did Diontae. Slot wr that's too afraid to play the slot.

They wouldn’t cut him unless they had a way to replace his 0 touchdowns scored.

They only save like 2.5 bones if they cut him this year. A bigger savings if they do it after next season. So we're stuck with DJ Drops for another season

$4.67MM in savings if cut before 6/1, $10.5MM if cut after.

We'll draft a suitable replacement in the 248th round of the next draft, like we always do.

I am clearly not a Diontae fan but you cannot trade him this off-season. Paying a free agent of any worth to play X or Z would even cost more and there’s nothing behind Pickens until Calvin Austin plays/shows something

I prefer keeping DJ and adding a veteran receiver who plays effectively in the slot at a cheap rate. I don’t think we should use an early round pick on a receiver this year

If you're using Sportrac, that's his trade value. -$3.33M before 6/1, $2.5 after. Next year it's $10M before and after.

Either way, I agree with other posters that we should hold onto him next year. He needs to be more of a #3, however. He can't be your #1 target.

I keep going back and forth between the two sites and have no idea why there is such a significant difference between the two sites. But yea, I don't think he goes anywhere. If anything I think he gets restructured to kick more of the bonus down the road.

I'm fine with trading DJ and running Najee, Pickens, Sims, FA Slot, Muth, Heyward, Austin, 2nd Round WR or 3 Rnd FR.

I don't think it's a bleak as advertised.

The Steelers could even huzzah, pay for JuJu again lmao

I'd trade DJ for Juju. I wouldn't want to be in a position of relying on Calvin Austin
