for sure. back then I spent 1 hellish year working at my local WalMart. I was working in the photo lab and the manager came up to me and said that I HAD to wear a long sleeve lab coat (I preferred long sleeve anyway) because the tattoo on my right forearm couldn't be visible.
1) what about the guy next to me in the electronics dept that had a full sleeve?
2) do you know the people who shop here? this isn't Saks Fifth Avenue.

10 years ago at my work, if you had a visible tattoo or non traditional piercings, you'd have to cover up or remove.

Today, we got people in finance/accounting (one of the more conservative functions) walking around with nose rings, and tats everywhere.

I don't have a tattoo (I do want one, just don't know what yet, but probably something Pitt), but they don't bother me in the least.

I think I asked here once a long time ago, those of you with visible tattoos, do you mind when people are staring and checking them out. I find myself doing that, looking at other peoples tats. It's just some of them are so amazing they are like going to a muesum and checking out some great art. I enjoy looking at others, but also can see where it is creepy.

I have two half sleeves and I forget about them all the time to be honest. If people want to admire, go for it. If people want to look in disgust, go for it. I didn't get them for anyone other than myself.

I hate tattoos on women. I want to ask every woman with a tattoo how long she worked as a stripper. Tattoos on men I don't really care about.

When I look at my wife's tattoo, I always reflect back to the time she worked as a stripper.

We scored this sweet little end table type thing at a flea market for $10 that someone ruined with distressed chalk paint and a clear coat. She stripped the sh*t outta that thing down to what we discovered was a nice, light cherry.

She's a great stripper.
