Provided you’re making cuts, and thus making money…yes. Absolutely.

for the longest time I would’ve said hockey. It’s my absolutely favorite sport to play. I have an autobiography I wrote in fifth grade where I said I wanted to play for the Penguins (little did I know I’d top out at 5’6”)


but I think it’s pretty squarely golf now. Individual sport but can be played as a team so you get that aspect but the lifestyle seems much more my alley. Wouldn’t make as much money (looks like an average PGA Tour player makes 1.5 million) but get to play in some wonderful places

I went with hoops. Have you seen those salaries for some middling clown who can specialize in shooting 3's? That would be me. And if I was an NBA player, I'd be a lot taller than I am now.

I love sumo. But, man, that's a hard life. Sumo wrestlers are required to live in communal dormitories their training stables, they train every day, and they are subject to strict behavioral and lifestyle expectations, including doing all of the chores and cooking around the stable and acting as servants for higher-ranked wrestlers. Injuries often go untreated, concussions are rampant, and only the 70 wrestlers who have made it into the top two divisions actually earn salaries (70 out of the roughly 550 wrestlers who are currently in the sport); everyone else gets a tiny living stipend and that's it other than free room and meals. Being a professional sumo wrestler is like going to Marine boot camp and staying there for 20 years. And in exchange for all of that, you get to die like 10 years earlier than the average Japanese male because you've developed diabetes and other health problems like alcoholism (sumo wrestlers drink a lot of alcohol).

being a DH in MLB would be pretty sweet. no standing in the field on sweltering days, just every 3 innings go out there and hit.
