I'm first year Gen X and have no beef with other generations. People within other generations and with people in my own yes, but I find blaming other generations to be silly. One step above thinking the opposite sex is all to blame. It's lazy.

Yeah, if you were born in 1981 but you know every Pearl Jam song and don’t know what Legends of the Hidden Temple is, you’re likely more Gen X than Millenial

1980-84 is often lumped into Xennial, whatever that means. I'm 1983 and I definitely feel like I share as many traits with that generation as I do with millennials.

Definitely grew up (after about age 13) with the internet though.

1980. Don't consider myself genx or millennial. But picked genx. Didn't have much internet growing up. Some friends did but only really used it to play warcraft2 a few times. I'm not into any genx favorite music or comedians though. Maybe elder millennial based on understanding computers and software in a more intrinsic way

I’ve always found the idea of hard cutoffs for generations to be silly. Really our society is broken into 4 categories. Retired and on their way out of the work force, middle/older workers, new/younger workers and late college age, and the school age. If that’s boomers, gen x, millennial, gen z so be it.
