First ever carseat puke yesterday (probably). Fortunately/unfortunately depending how you look at it, it was less than 1 minute from our destination.

PSSA, day 1: Some of the kids cried because one section was stuff that they learned back in September but have not reviewed, one kid flat out refused to take the test, and another pretended to snore after he was finished, disrupting others.

It's PSSA week at my daughter's elementary school. Five whole days of testing, with lunch for her grade pushed back to 1:35pm.

I only know it's PSSA week because I found out our deacons committee buys snacks/drinks for like 300 students in the district during the exams and I took a bunch of stuff over to the school last week.

My daughter has one more year before that starts.

I swear my daughter’s soccer coach needs to just change the day of practice. Every damn Wednesday it winds up being freezing cold or raining. The kids all look like popsicles out there right now, and I’m sitting in my car to stay warm.

Last night was brutal, practice got moved from Tuesday to Wednesday due to the rain. Today won't be much better.

Went to my niece's 10U softball game last night. It was freeeeeezing. They actually called the game an inning early since it was so cold.

My daughter’s soccer coach has practices Tues and Thurs, except next week she changed it to Mon and Fri. Uh, we scheduled other stuff already those days because she DOESN’T HAVE SOCCER.

Both my boys are top 2 players on their team. Which blows because that means two more weeks of games.

Lil mac went 4 for 4 again tonight. Inside the park grand slam in the second inning.

For Mother's Day this year, I decided to get a 16x20 canvas and attempt to paint our house in watercolors for my wife. No, I'm not sure why I did this. No, I've never painted in my life and the only thing I can draw are those Art for Kids Hub videos.

Aside from trying to add a black window frame (which would have broke the whole half assed impressionism attempt), I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. It's clearly our home, which I suppose is a success. Messed up the sky color a little, went too fast and should have made a proper light blue. I'll go back and turn that effed up window into a smudgy reflection later.
