In addition to syrup or replace the syrup?Mac, try putting sugar on the lucky charms, that should solve all issues.

Depends on the syrup. kids need high fructose corn syrup these days, so plan around that

Copy. Chocolate milk, HFCS and sugar. Got it.

Replace chocolate milk with cherokee red and you got it. Come on.

Snow days for today and tomorrow in our school district. Which, again, is surprising given that we have 100% virtual students. I assumed that they'd just pivot to online for these days, but I guess they have snow days built into the calendar that they'd have to use up first.

TIL that a majority of the school crossing guards in my school district have been in those positions since the 70s and 80s.

Am I in the minority of people who hate giving their 2 year old gummie snacks?
He exchanged valentine's treats at daycare with his class (2-3 yo) and like 50 percent of them are gummie bears, fruit snacks, etc.
I do not like giving my kid these types of treats because he seems to constantly choke on them

We give zero fruit snacks.

We let him try one and he wasn't sure what to do with it. Dad likes gummy snacks so win all around.

Haha. Yeah I've been trying to avoid them. We will let him have a pack if he sits right beside us. I usually eat one to his one so the pack is gone quicker

There are alternatives. I really don't like the typical fruit snacks because they are terrible for kids and their teeth, but they make more natural ones that dissolve more easily.

Yeah, some of them were ok. But he got like 3 different packs of haribo gummy bears. Those things are like shoe leather gummies. No way was he getting them.

Important note, I just found out they make Haribo Starmix which has all of the haribo blessings in one pack.

The Target brand (Good & Gather) fruit strips have been a staple in our house for years. Now, my 14 year old doesn’t like them (I’m not a kid, he says ) and the 12 year old can’t eat them because of braces. So naturally, we have three full boxes.
But they ate them safely from ages 2-3 until just this year.

Same. They’re awful for your teeth, so it’s completely out of the question. We give zero fruit snacks.

Eventually, but it’s a bad habit to form early on.

My daughter got in an accident right before Christmas. Her fault. Turned left when someone waved her on, and got hit by oncoming traffic. Totaled the car. Today, she got in another accident. This time, completely the other person's fault. But two accidents in three months is not great for driving with confidence.
